I love how I never feel pressured to buy the products you show in your videos. We have a similar makeup aesthetic but most international brands are not available in your country yet. However, thanks to the way you describe the texture and finish of your products, I've been able to find similar products from brands available in my country (many of them being amazing indie brands I'd never heard of) and build my own Matilda-esque collection. Highly, highly enjoy your content!

I finally got my hands on some of your recommendations from last year! That’s how I tend to do it because I usually won’t buy something immediately when I like the look of it, I’ll wait a few months to see if it still speaks to me after that time. I now have the Nudestix Sunkissed blush, the Westman atelier contouring stick, the Em cosmetics serum blush in rose milk and Gucci lipstick in goldie red. Love them all! I also wanted to ask how Nudestix Sunkissed compares to Lilah b. in b. lovely because that one has my attention too, but I don’t want to buy it if it’s too similar. So glad that you’re able to produce content again! :)

Oddly I've actually worn more makeup this year! I used to only wear it if I was heading out somewhere on weekends but as that hasn't been happening I've started to just wear it most days. great video! i would love if you did a prep and prime video talking about how you prepare before applying makeup for best finish and staying power! you mentioning lip scrub made me think of it!

Lip scrub is just about the only step in that routine haha, I don't do anything to prep or prime my skin before makeup! I don't even own any primers or setting sprays. I'm personally not concerned about staying power at all (I love creams which aren't as long lasting as powders). I'm happy for my makeup to fade and look real, not perfect ☺️👍 x
