I have a mathews heli m and I hate the lack a valley. I was wondering how the triax, vertex and the traverse compares. It would be easier if I just went and shot them myself but I really don’t want to find myself buying a new bow this close to hunting season 😂. Is it worth buying a new bow ?

@@MrCeeLemons more compact, lighter, and easy to adjust peak weight. That being said I went with the traverse because of the stability and the added draw length (I'm 31.5").

Do you remember what mods were on the bow to give you 29.5 inch draw length. Just bought a traverse and want to buy the right mods the first time? I know they tend to draw a little long.

Great review. I am curious to know how you compare the Traverse to the Elite Ritual 33. I'm looking to purchase one bow to hunt with and to shoot 3D targets. Trying to gather as much info as I can on both bows. Thanks.

How does it compare to an Evolve 35 draw cycle?

They are similar. I feel like the Traverse has an easier draw where the Evolve has a slightly stiffer draw. How they transition into the valley is different.

I cant speak to the evolve 35 but i can say that its smoother than the evoke 35 with the se evolve cams.

when mathews make a 34/35 ata bow with the switch weight cams. i'll buy a mathews bows. they peaked my interest with the switch weight cams but need to make a longer ata cam

With the larger cams, the string angle at full draw is similar to a 35 ata bow.

Rusty Shackleford I have a 31” DL and I’ve owned the pro Defiant 34, RX-1 Ultra, and Prevail 40. Now own the traverse and the string angle isn’t as good as any of those hoyts but I feel it’s an overall better shooting bow.
