Finally!! They put more power on the engine. I had the 2015 model it was sooo slow no matter what gear ur on. This one on turbo diesel is a must go 👍 Kudos Mazda. Thanx Jen for a good review .

The diesel engine sounds terrible.. the petrol engine goes well IMO.. feels like it's got more power than the 2.0 Mazda 3..

YURI low end grunt on the diesel is what im after. plus its is economical. Petrol getting expensive these days

I really love the direction CarTell has taken the last few years. From the days of Charli it seemed that sometimes the looks of the reviewers was as important as the cars themselves. Now we have a trio of women who are professional, really pleasant, knowledgeable and very adept at communicating their opinions and facts and are just as beautiful as any of the past presenters. I'm not saying that Charli, Martine and Jenna et al were not any of those things...but it seems that the co-equal focus on the sexiness of the ladies is no longer there. Just my opinion.

great review Jenny, we found the CX-3 too small last year, especially in the rear for adults, so opted for the CX-5 Sport Nav with better options and more space -- reckon CX30 should be good when it launches in a few months. They still need to get turbos in the petrol, biggest let down of the Mazda 3 in UK (other than the woeful hatch C pillar & small back window), was a crap 2.0L 120bhp petrol engine. Still a few months yet for Skyactiv-X to make an appearance with the saloon model.

CX-3 is based on Mazda3. Just taller. That is why it looks bigger until you sit in it... X engines still have some ironing out to be done, so the launch may be postponed.

It's most likely the microphone connection or the noise reduction effect they added to remove any distractions the mic may have picked up

I use to say thatthe Mazda 3 hatch over the CX3 but now given the Mazda 3 redesign and significant price increase, that argument is no longer valid. Plus the new 3s hatch body is quite unattractive and has horrid blind spots. Not sure if it was part of Mazdas plan or not
