Bo just felt like pinning his rd. 2 guy so he could get some extra rest and cheer on his teammates. He can do whatever he wants. No one in collegiate wrestling is a challenge to him anymore. They are all just his toys. Must be fun to be Bo Nickal.

Respect for being a multiple sport div 1 athlete but there wasn't any reason to be a bad sport about Bo trying to help him up. Wrestling is what Bo is an expert of, and of experts he is at the upper end. Too much ego. P.S. I'm arm chair quarterbacking barely 20 year olds at the top of their game while drinking a beer in bed after work. These guys don't give a fuck about my opinion hahahaha

Jordan Babcock some people don’t want to be helped up after taking a loss at the biggest tournament of the year. No bad sportsmanship. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
@brandonmunson41165 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, I think Bo was being a jerk. First of all I don't think its being a good sport to help someone up after you pin them. It's patronizing and also the other guy shouldn't feel like you need to help him up. A good sport would be doing something like that after a loss. But that's just my opinion on helping people up. But, when Bo offered his hand and the guy obviously didnt take it, Bo didn't have to start pulling him off the ground. Helping someone up could be considered good sportsmanship (but I disagree) but the fresno state guy does not need a dude who just beat him standing over him pulling him off the ground.
@znhait4 жыл бұрын
@@brandonmunson4116 I agree. Good sportsmanship can never be judged while losing. Good sportsmanship is congratulating your opponent after the ref cost you a match. By the way, I have no problem with someone losing a tough match and not being overly congratulatory. It's just that it's very easy to help someone get up after pinning him, especially given the difference in quality. When Bo defeated Myles Martin, he jumped up like a maniac--by the way, I like Bo.

Why would you leap in with upper body attacks against a guy who is REALLY good upper body??
@ryan801664 жыл бұрын
You think the dude is going to beat him in some other way? Lol. This is probably the best strategy he could have brought. Bo rarely loses upper body, but when he does he goes to his back. That's the only reason he lost his first national championship. He also lost to nate jackson for the same reason, he got caught. Clearly he is better than both, but how else are you going to put the guy on his back? So its either lose to takedown game, or try to throw him and pin him.
@rikkyhernandez65114 жыл бұрын
Yoooo the guy who beat him was Myles Martin, not Nate Jackson my man
@TurfDoe4 жыл бұрын
@@rikkyhernandez6511 Nate Jackson beat him at a dual meet his freshman year. That and losing to Myles Martin twice were his only three losses in college.

@ianshue28904 жыл бұрын
A lot of the things that Bo Nickal does shouldn’t work. He is the only wrestler I’ve seen in wrestling today that can easily throw opponents in the NCAA, it’s just like an undeniable force, you don’t want Nickal to do it to you and you try to stop it, but Nickal gets it anyway. I don’t think Nickal is the greatest wrestler of all time, but he is definitely one of the best to come out of Penn State

@pano63915 жыл бұрын
@@justinparks654 No, a quarter nelson is not an arm triangle. Go to 3:18 and you can see he does not have an arm across the throat. What he's done is post on the guy's head and reach under the armpit to secure a grasp of his own forearm (posted on the guy's head). He uses this as leverage to turn him.
