@@thecasuallongsword Yeah I was thinking the same thing but it's really quite a bit different, since there you're trying to lift the opponent across you and sweep whereas here you move under the opponent and come out the back.

Dan Henderson used a similar move to KO fedor. Technically the same move but initiated from half guard, and he spun outside the leg vs inbetween the legs like bo is showing here.

That's pretty cool, Bo...but indeed a big extend with sliding home to an instantaneously thereafter explosiveness on that backdoor change direction, as I think I would be reactive subconsciously with a knuckle cross-face since wondering why I was atypically too high and not feeling you try to face me in such a situation. That’s a nice move but it seems like all you’re doing is giving a top guy too and then reverse them for to yourself so you’re back at square one because once the top guy clips your foot it’s two for him

Don't forget to roll to your side, as if you're about to give up the position. Eventually you're on your back, so the crossface will have disappeared by that point. And don't forget the explosive part. You can't do this slowly.

I’ve never seen a wrestler grab his opponent’s leg before. This guy needs some aerobic conditioning or breathing exercises. When he’s wrestled a few matches after this first one his conditioning will improve.

I shouldn’t really be critiquing bo nickal but isn’t it 2 as soon as the hook a leg and you are on a hip? In PA at least refs always called 2 when you hook the ankle but only after you get him to a hip. And it doesn’t matter if they had a leg or not
