These wrestlers don't even really need much BJJ training. They could roll into most BJJ gyms and submit everyone up to the very good purple belts and even then you may need a brown belt to stop them.

Bjj is so incredibly overrated, especially when you can buy your way up the belt rankings or be handed undeserved belts for celebrities.. Ashton Kutcher a brown belt...gtfo... Russell brand..purple belt Zuck the cuck blue belt..my little sister could make that perverted robot tap... Elite wrestling is much more useful in life, mma, and in a street fight... Cam you imagine Gordon Ryan in a street fight, he just plops down on his ass waiting for his drunk opponent to crawl into his arms...no he's going to sprint at him & punt his head off like masvidal Baptistized the funk master.... Chael, Matt Hughes, colby, usman, sean brady, Daniel Cormier, CCC, aljamain sterling, TJ, justin G ( even though he never uses it) And Don forgot the Russian grapplers, even though they have all been juiced up since JR HIGH, and you all know it...khaboob, ahmish islam, one eyed willy, ect

Ya with a minor adjustment that could easily be a mounted guillotine. The wrestling move he used here is called “the gator bacon” Which can be done as a counter to a takedown attempt (like here) or done simply from the front headlock position. It’s a front headlock with an underhook, you spin to the underhook side and stick the pin. What he did here was impressive, he countered his takedown attempt and immediately got the reversal directly into a pin. Crazy.

From a technical standpoint, Myles Martin became overzealous and rushed to Bo’s head (for potential back points/fall); however, his head was buried in the mat, his hips extremely high. Unfortunately, for him, he made this horrible mistake against an incredible opponent and paid dearly. Could have settled back immediately when they went to the mat, secured both legs tightly below the knees, and proceeded slowly and cautiously from there but his overzealous, aggressive nature cost him; however, He’s still a Champion regardless. 😃

Looked like Bo kept his leg/knee up though elevating Martin's hips so he could not get them closer to the mat.

@@johnnybeefum I agree with you my friend. I still believe Martin should have secured both of Bo’s legs (preferably) below the knee level with both hands LOCKED leaning no space between Bo’s legs and Martin’s chest while simultaneously settling back then walking slowly to the head. This is a skill that must be drilled until it becomes muscle memory. Most wrestlers become overzealous in certain situations trying to do too much and, in my opinion, this was one of them. However, Martin is still an amazing young man and a Champion nonetheless.
