I swear, as soon as you don't sound what your race generally sound like.. "Fake accent". I've been met with this nonsense so many times before, and they can't even pin point what "fake accent" do I have. Some would say I sound American, some would say I sound British. I sound nothing like them. Idk what do you understand by the word "review". A review IS SUPPOSED to be subjective. It's a criticism, an assessment, or an evaluation of a person. If a review is not subjective, and is just full of facts. What the hell is the point of that? Just go to your preferred manufacturer and view the specification sheet.

How dare they call it a GT without adding power? Instead they added weight with that silly body kit. I do like the side cameras, though. I wish we could get that on the regular XV. Thanks for the video, though.

MotorImage been milking the XV for the past 6 years..... changes are always cosmetic. We need better or more powerful engine, or a diesel at least! After sale service is in dire need of improvement! Bobby did mentioned “nothing much has changed”...... sighhh

Please stop saying Subarus are mechanically-premium they're not. Ask any first-gen XV owner and they'll tell you all the noises the steering rack makes. Nearly every single first-gen XV has this problem and Subaru could never solve it. As an XV owner myself I am also utterly disappointed in their customer service. I have a friend working high up in MIPJ and even he is disappointed. It's not even like I drive my car hard, I baby it. I've seen horror stories of other owners changing their steering rack under warranty multiple times and it's still making noise, and it's not normal for it to make noise considering how it doesn't make noise brand new. Just do a quick search in Subaru XV Club Malaysia and you'll see all sorts of mechanical problems. I myself have had to replace three different parts under warranty in my one-and-a-half year owning it (albeit only one is mechanical but still) and going to replace my steering rack for the second time under warranty soon.

The first part I've had to replace was my DRL. There was already water in it when I got the car brand new. About 15k km my steering rack started making noise, but the warranty never got approved until 45k km. The noise did not go away after the part was replaced with a so-called "new and improved" part with a different part number, so now at about 52k I'm waiting for my part to arrive for replacement again. About nine months into owning the car (not sure on the mileage) my steering wheel skin started peeling off.

Wow that to early ,even if they said wear n tear, should be around 100-150k odo.. , but it to subjective depending on how our daily commute style driving/places eg route conditions...

I guess the side mirror, they are not 3D print. Many car's manufacturers are using Thermal Vacuum Forming plastic on the front grille, door panel, central console, switches and many more..., this side mirror could be using same method. Part of cost control concerns, more cheaper mould cost, and economy plastic materials, because car model changing so fast. Unlike the old times, 1 model of car can sell for 5 years or above then only launch new model.

X70 is not in same segment as cx3 and xv.. x50 is.. x70 value for money. Mazda and xv is way better handling then x70.

No. Boxer engine means the pistons lie flat. In the video he already mentioned only Subaru and Porsche does boxer engine. BMW engines stand straight up.

What you're talking about is longitudinal vs transverse positioning of the engine. To put simply, longitudinal means the transmission is either behind or in front of the engine depending on where the engine is placed in the car. This means that the pistons are parallel to the length of the car. Transverse means the transmission is side-by-side with the engine, meaning the pistons are placed sideways.

I owned 8 months ago already, the CVT compare my previous Altis CVT is 100% totally different. Feel like drive manual mode when you accelerate up from 4000rpm can noticed the gear changing. Subaru technology is more effort on safety, especially the AWD on high speed cornering at 100km/h the whole car still managed control on the steering and easily pass on any crooked road.

Hmm..pple keep bashing cvts...my 3.6r 2018 outback is awesome. You "kentut" and it really goes. My previous 2011 2.5 outback cvt was pretty good as well. ..yeah a bit slow but good gas mileage. You have to "pangpui" twice to make it go but otherwise it was fine. I''ll buy another subaru cvt again in a heartbeat.
