Switched out the stock cat for a TEC X-pipe on my 2020 Speed Twin at 1,010 miles. Even though Summer temps are mild in the Virginia foothills; these bikes don't need the extra heat below the oilpan! It took me about 3 hours, had to buy a T-55 for the big bolts, probably not a job for a novice. The stock pipes run cooler and a whopping 4 pounds lighter.

Considering it for my 22 Speed Twin, but these Euro5 motors are so strict with fueling, and the "12 minute tune" doesn;t do anything on them.. so I would almost certainly have to get the bike tuned...

You can but you don't have to the engine ECU reprograms itself.. you just got to let it idle for 15 minutes let the fan let it run for 15 more minutes without touching the throttle and it's fine it don't throw any codes you're good to go
