This marks five years since I started the Bama Rewind channel, but the origins of the project really go back to when I started recording games as a child. My initial vision for this project was just to get the biggest moments in a tiny collection, but it eventually grew to become digitizing every bit of Alabama football footage that I could find. Today, the channel features 626 games, which comes out to about half of all the games Alabama has ever played. Most of the games I'm missing predate the invention of television, so there's sadly probably no way I will ever be able to access them. Over the years, I've poured untold hours into this project, but some of you may have noticed that my uploads and comments have recently become less frequent. I simply don't have the energy I did for it when I started. I plan to keep making videos of new games as they occur for as long as I can, but I'm not able to be as engaged with the channel or the program as I once was for personal reasons. Thank you to everyone for watching and commenting on the channel. It means so much when I get a comment saying "My dad played in this game" or "This was my first game as a kid." I also enjoy just talking about the current team with people in the comments, and I've had laughs bantering with rival fans. I don't know how many more games I will have the chance to make, but Bama Rewind has become part of my life and it couldn't have happened without the help and support of so many people. Thank you all and Roll Tide.

@Dethrone the Degenerates We had the 1985 Iron Bowl, the 1987 Tennessee and Auburn, and then I caught the bug in 1988 and started taping every Bama and FSU game I could get ahold of. DVR is nice, but I miss all the little things we had to do to make the VCR work!

This was my favorite Alabama season by far! One of the best if not the best offense in cfb History 💯 ... This 2020 team should be remembered

I love Devonta and he totally deserved the Heisman ,but if Waddle hadn't got hurt he would've won it . Both were a first round pick so they did okay.

Can't believe ESPN has fired this announcer. They lost their minds. Glad he's announcing college football elsewhere.

8:45 I'm not sure Davonta would have won the Heisman without this dude injured. Mac would have prob won it.

I can def agree with you but like always still work to be done we will find out soon if this really is the best offensive line in America. Be ready for Texas A&M on Saturday Roll Damn Tide 🐘🐘🐘

Mitch_13 we normally seem to handle A&M pretty good the last time they gave us trouble had to be in 2013 and maybe 2017 where they kept scoring at the end and we only beat them 27-19

And I'm sorry, stadium expanded to capacity of 57k? And yet it *still* looks like a high-school football field.
@carsonwood6114 жыл бұрын
100% agree. Hopefully they get rid of the track around the field so no one slips on it again. It could cause season ending injuries
@thedungeondelver4 жыл бұрын
@@carsonwood611 Yeah, I was really worried when Waddle slipped on that damn clay track. Brr. Thank goodness he was okay. I don't care who the team is or the players are, don't wanna see anyone get injured, ever, especially not to something like that. I remember one year, can't recall who it was, but he ran into the brick wall around the outer perimeter of the field at B-D. The following week, Nick had them completely remove it and replace it further back. Mizzou should do something like invest in turf padding to go on the track during games.
