I agree, I think it's one of the best sounding production cars being made. I also never get bored of the pops and bangs, sounds amazing. I have an aFe exhaust ready to be installed which should give it just that extra bit of bang. Just waiting for winter to end. I'll post a video of that once it's installed.

Thanks, glad you liked it. I've got $3000 worth of parts just waiting to be installed, wasn't able to get them done last summer due to the pandemic, so now I'm just waiting for spring. The parts and tune will be done this spring/summer for sure, so stay tuned, I'll have more videos coming. Good luck with getting a Supra for yourself and enjoy once you do.

Ya the pops are crazy, I love them. I've heard the Veloster N going down the road, sounded nice, lots of pops. I just had an aFe Takeda exhaust installed, video coming as soon as the weather cooperates. Same pops and farts as stock just a deeper, fuller tone to it. Hope to get that video done soon.

Cool, I'm sure you'll love it. Get ready for all the people going nuts over the car everywhere you go. People love the Supra. I'm still trying to get my parts installed. I don't have a lift for my exhaust install, and where I live there are only 2 tuner shops within 100 miles. One is closed because it's moving locations and the other won't answer or return my calls. Someday I'll get these parts installed, but it's so fun stock, I'm really not in a big hurry either.

Yes it does. That's one reason why I haven't installed my aFe exhaust yet. The stock exhaust really sounds great already. Hopefully in next few weeks I'll get the aFe installed and I'll post a video on it and a comparison to stock.

I have the Premium. In the USA the Premium is the same as your Legend Edition. The Supra with the 3 liter B58 is so much more car than the 2 liter, so good choice, you won't regret it.

Nice. I love my 2020. It's a bit of a different beast than the 2021+. Different diff, different exhaust intake, a little less power, same torque but it comes on couple hundred rpms quicker than the 2021+. I have mods coming so stay tuned.

I agree the stock exhaust sounds really good, one of the best stock sounds out there. I have an aFe catback exhaust I still need to install. I choose that exhaust because in the sounds clips it sounded closest to the stock. I have a Sounds of Supra video on my channel you might like too. Enjoy.

Nice man, enjoy. Hardest part is waiting to get thru the 1500-mile break in period before you can really get on it. I have a bunch of mods waiting to be installed, just haven't got to them yet, always working, and in 2 months car will be put away for the winter. You plan to mod it or keep it stock? Either way, it's a blast to drive and everywhere you go people will be checking it out. I get people wanting pictures or giving thumbs up on the road or even stopping me to ask about almost every day. Arguably one of the most popular modern cars.

Now that the manual is announced I’m debating getting rid of my 2020 sti for one, I live in New York also so idk if I can do it as my all round year car though, how’s it been treating you?

The car has been really good, no real complaints at all. It is so fun to drive and quick even in stock form. My best stock numbers are 4.1 seconds 0-60mph and 12.3 seconds 1/4 mile, both times on the street. The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that it comes with are excellent in dry and wet grip. I just updated my rear tires to Michelin P4S which is the newer version of the Pilot Super Sport. However, even with these tires or even snow tires I don't see how you'll be able to drive it all year round. There is just too much torque, the tires will spin on a dry surface, and driving in slippery cold NY conditions probably wouldn't be a good idea. I put mine away for Dec-March and have a Fiat 500 for a winter car. I had a WRX in 2011, best all year car I ever owned. If you want all year car the STI might be better choice but if you can store the Supra for the winter, pick one up, you'll love it.

@@TV-jv4dj I store mine during wintertime in my garage. I bought a generic car cover that I cover the car with and also once a week I start it up and let it run until it fully warms up. I also check and adjust the tire pressure if needed because it can lose some pressure in the cold. So that's all I really do, cover it, start it once a week, keep tire pressure good. When the car gets over 5+ years old you might do more like change fluids and stuff for storage, but while it's new, as long as you can start it once a week the care will be fine. And if you can't start it once a week it should still be fine, I've stored cars outside in the winter without starting and they fired right up. I just do the start once a week to keep everything lubricated and keep the oil circulated in the engine. Enjoy the car!

So are there any changes to exhaust sound through the model years?

The general consensus for the 3.0 is that the 2020 is a bit more aggressive sounding and has lots more pops and bangs. The 2021 and newer does have a bit of a deeper tone, but less pops and bangs, more touring sounding in my opinion. My guess is the sound difference is because the 2021+ has the 6-port exhaust manifold and the 2020 has the 2-port. I might be biased but I like the 2020 sound better. The 2.0, while it sounds nice, doesn't compare to the 3.0. I saw some side-by-side 2020 and 2021 comparison videos before on you tube, you should be able to find some and check it out.

I don't know for sure, but I did see the GR Supra on the Car Wow channel, which is a UK channel and the Supra sounded the same in those videos. I'm working on editing the video for my aFe takeda cat back exhaust right now. Hope to have that up by this weekend.

Ya inside the car Toyota (BMW) pumps in fake "exhaust" sound thru the sub woofer. Definitely effects the real sound of the exhaust. Some like it, some don't. I can turn it off using Bimmercode, but that's one setting I haven't done yet. Maybe I'll give it a try and see which way I like better. I have an aFe exhaust waiting to be installed, as soon as I do that I'll make a video for that exhaust as well. Thanks for checking out my video.

I agree. When the 2021 came out, everyone who got one said you 2020 guys got ripped off, but in the end we find out the 2020 not only puts down the same horsepower and torque as the 2021+ with the typical bolt-on mods, but it's also more fun to drive, and sounds better. When I bought my 2020 Premium, they had a 2021 Premium for sale as well, but after test driving both cars, I choose the 2020. It was more playful and was $4500 cheaper (marked down because it had been sitting on the lot for 9 months).

@@angrycar Yeah the 2020's do the mega pops :) I loved mine to death, same got a 2020 new for a steal of 43k. Those times are loooonngggg gone. My 23 BRZ just came in today actually, terrible time to buy a car- but they seem to be holding there value well so imma scoop that up.

Ya the manual should be really fun to drive. I'm guessing the auto will be a few ticks faster though just for the fact that most people can't shift as fast as the bmw Z8 transmission.
