👋 This is the NEW MK5 A90 Toyota GR Supra! This 2022 Toyota Supra is a fun sportscar to drive and really packs a massive punch from the turbocharged inline 6 cylinder engine! The BMW sourced B58 motor is a joy to drive! The revisions from the original 2020 Supra include a smoother power delivery from better exhaust manifold and turbo housing and gives you a smooth power band! The 2022 Supra gets up to speed so easy and the 8 speed automatic shifts so quick and smooth. New for 2023 will be a 6 speed manual option. The 2022 Supra has clean lines on the exterior with lots of bulges. The interior is pretty simple but feels refined like a BMW and is easy to use. The new 2023 Nissan Z will be a great competitor to the Supra and offer a sporty drive and fun colors. Probably wont be as refined as the Supra, but it comes in at a lower cost. I owned my 2020 Supra for 2 years and really enjoyed it, but just sold it to buy the new Z. But I like the revised engine for the new Supra and it really is a great sportscar that can be a fantastic touring car! the 2023 Z will be a great replacement for my old Supra, but I really do still like what the Supra has to offer. 2022 Toyota Surpa exhaust sounded really good too! I think they added back the fun sounds after 2021. Nissan 400z might be a slower car then the new Supra, but both are so cool!

I worked at a Toyota dealer and only thing the new supras come for is for recalls, other than that I have not seen or heard any problems on the supras

Why don't they offer a different interior seat color for the 3.0 Premium? And only one color hazelnut for the A91-MT? I'd liked a red interior for the Premium 3.0 automatic. Yes! 2020 is the loudest. 2021 they took almost all the pops away. 2022 is almost as loud as 2020 tho! Somehow BMW toned all their tuning down for 2021 model year. People must have not liked it and 2022+ they added a lot back

And boys & girls ALWAYS remember to get your car insurance policy BEFORE you make any performance modifications. Things like an underside hidden TWIN TURBO SYSTEM ON A SUPRA : ) MUSTANG, CAMARO, CORVETTE etc.

Insurance companies just base things off the VIN. You don’t need to tell them you have mods on the car. And you don’t need to insure aftermarket parts if you don’t want to. My insurance guy know my cars are highly modified and said I could add them all to the policy. But it’s not worth it for me. So depends on what the owner wants

Each car will really offer something different. I think it depends on what you want out of the car. I already had the Supra, so I don't want another. So I like how the Z will give me the same style of car with turbos, and a cheaper price. 86 is too slow for my taste, and the Camaro is the same layout as my GTR, so the Z works best for me. What do you want out of your car?

I think you are miscalculating the price difference a bit versus the new Nissan Z. Equals for equals in the manual transmission would be the Nissan Z Performance model versus the standard 3.0 Supra with a manual transmission. I think Nissan really overpriced their performance model in the Z, and in reality it's only a few thousand dollars more to get the Supra 3.0 MT. Car and Driver magazine just did a review of them both Head to Head and the Supra seemingly crushed the Nissan in the review.

The Z Performance costs $51k the Supra Manual will be about the same or more then the 3.0 Premium. $56k. Its going to be at least a $5k difference. I owned the Supra for 2 years, so I'm switching it up and will make a ton of genuine content to compare the two cars and see what is really the better value. Each car offers a lot, but at this point no 'real' consumers have any idea of the differences. Once I live with the new Z for a year, I'll know exactly what its like compared to the Supra. Just driving them back to back in a day doesnt really tell you much

All depends on what you can afford down and what payment you want, also what kind of interest rate you qualify for. When I bought mine, it was $58k out the door. I put $15k down with a 3.5% rate. Payment was $600 a month.

I got the base 3.0 for 51k msrp brand new. I think it's a better value than the premium. You get the same touchscreen and seats look just as awesome. All performance parts are the same and it comes with all essential features you'd need on the interior.

Yes it is, it's the control that allows the engine to shut off at a stop or if you don't want it to do that you can push that button. It's not the engine start stop to turn the car on and off, but it will start stop at a stop.

It's not a downgrade in my opinion. I've already owned the Supra. Been there done that. 2 years with it, I had my fun. Now I want to try this new Z coming out. They are all fun cars and I will make content on the Z like I did the Supra to see exactly what it's like owning the new Z. Don't see how 400hp and a manual is a downgrade. Supra got boring with the auto. And the crazy high torque spun the wheels all the time and that got annoying. Z will be much more linear in power and the manual will be fun

Gunna be honest the Z doesn’t seem that promising. It has the same engine as the q50 and won’t be as reliable as the Supra when it comes to tuning. Seen a video the new Z can’t keep up with the Supra. But we will see once the Z’s are on the road.

We'll see. Keep in mind that video is misleading since the Z had tires that didn't not grip well. Mustang and Supra had performance Michelin tires. Don't just jump on the wagon of misleading videos as 100% truth. Z will be a cheaper version of the Supra I think with more of a fun factor, less of a refined factor. And I will put mine to the test with all the mods I did on my Supra and GTR to see how the new Z can handle it

@@MikeBaloga hmm from what I’ve seen they spin easier. I guess we’ll see when real owners get the Z. Can’t trust the big companies that do these races with pre production cars. When the Supra came out same things happened. Then owners put them on the dyno and they make 400 WTQ 😅

ok? I don't really care to be honest. I own a 700 HP GTR. I already have a fast car. I really could care less if the Z is a bit slower then the Supra. But I like how the Z will be about $7k cheaper then my Supra was and I like the cool colors for the inside and out. Also I'm sure with mods, it will make some power. If I do everything I've done to my GTR, the Z will be a beast on E85. So it will certainly make a ton of power probably well into the 500 range. So it's going to be a fun car. Supra is great too and makes amazing power and handles well. I had that car for 2 years, so now I'm switching things up and will experience the new competitor. I don't have an ego like you seem to where I need every car I buy to just be the best thing in the world. Regardless my GTR is faster then pretty much everything on the road lol. So I could care less if the Z isnt

Still an amazing car! However these are rock solid reliable. Oil change annually or every 5k miles and you're good. Never spent a penny maintaining mine for two years. But you probably would like the Z better since it's JDM kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHvaXnxql7eah6M

Actually there was hardly any maintenance to do with my Supra that I owned for 2 years! BMW's are pretty reliable especially in the last few years!
