One of my favorite tunes sung by two of my favorite singers!!! It doesn't get better than that!!! I was listening to "The Waters of March" sung by Alba and Rita a few years back and the confidence and tone of Alba's voice now is strong and wonderful to listen to. Joana voice is always enjoyable to listen to -- she's a very good singer! I hope we can keep them singing in the jazz and bossa nova realm for a very long time!!! 😊😊

I keep returning to Aguas de Março as my true bossa favourite (discovered via Sergio Mendes and Brasíl 66!!). I love every version by this wonderful band, but the flute solo here adds an extra dimension. I can really “fly” with it. Thank you, Joan Chamorro and Sant Andreu.

¡Cierto, Joao! Lo pondré en la descripción. Es una composición (1972) de Tom Jobim. Existen varias versiones, tanto en solitario como a dúo junto a Elis Regina.

Me da pena decirlo pero, prefiero la versión de Alba Armengou con Rita Payés, claro que la orquesta también era más grande. No soy músico pero me pareció que en uno de los instrumentos hubo retraso y algo más. Igual es grandioso lo que hacen, felicitaciones y gracias por su bello arte.
