Great video. I am having one of these put in my own Axopar 37 by you guys. Question: for people keeping their boat on a lift (like me), do you need to close the water intake valve to the AC every time the boat is taken out of the water (and open it when back in the water), or does it not matter? Thanks.

You do not have to, its just the only way to completely prevent airlocks in the seawater pump. We do add the bleeding valve for the pump so I would not close and open the valve every time andI would just look over the side when I start the AC unit up to see if there is water flow. If you do see the water coming out, just open up the back to access the pump system and open the bleeding valve to purge the air out of the system.
