@@vince_gsrider the sc is a lot louder. In fact it is annoyingly loud if you're touring. I'm also not too sure if you would get into trouble in case the police measures the db. SC project sometimes has a looser view on those regulations even when they state that is road legal.

For only tar, just go with XR. But if you would like more gravel riding, and mabe very long trips, the GS would be your best option I think. The XR is more for quite serious paved riding, but still a good touring bike....

I never saw GS bouncing like that because of quickshifter. It must be incredible feeling accelerating that fast on a beast that literally bounces every time you upshift. Plus the boom sound every time. Other bikes just don't give this feeling. Maybe new CRF1100 Africa Twin, that bike is also very loud on quickshifter upshifts.

Hello my Friend, Is this a fully streetlegal Euro4 OEM Exhaust with DB Eater still attached? I wonder if a R1250R could sound the same with this Exhaust. Kind Regards!

Gorilla Kanga Yes she is really great! Where BMW has been smart is that since the R80GS (which was already above its single cylinder competitors!), They have never stopped improving it, making it better again and again to get there today to the R1250! She is and remains The Queen! I ride with my old but valiant R1200GS (2008) with Akrapovic racing exhaust line (model with two stacked exhaust silencers)! 😉✌🏽

@@gwadaflat Indeed, the bike just does everything very well. The R1200GS is also a great bike I'd like to try it sometime. Like you said the GS series is the boss of the whole category. I'm going to try the Africa twin and see how it compares. I'll post it too :) Btw IMO this GS has the best of BMW TFT displays🥰✌🏿
