Hey Samuel, These are significantly thicker. As a result, they will require less speed but also lack the same high top speed as the Moses foils.

Is there any reason to update from the 2017 double agent foil? I not find any comparison. Is there a huge different? But anyway thanks for VDO.

Would you recommend the Carve over the Varial for light riders (140lb) and why? What’s the main difference? Would you also go with the short mast on the Carve? I’m looking for a fun foil mainly for kitesurfing but also to be able to use it on a surfboard (XBreed) to ride some waves and pump it. Both foils the Carve and the Varial are looking awesome. Thanks for you quick comparison.

Lebendigkite, It would depend on the application but most kiteboarders that light would prefer the Carve. It will provide enough lift without sacrificing any maneuverability. At that weight, it should be plenty stable, even for a new foiler. -Tucker

I already have the HiRise Speed. Other than top end spend speed how are the Speed and the Varial Medium different? Can I use the Varial with a 85cm mast (I see cabrinha doesn't package it with that size)?

Hi Stas, The Varial Medium will not need nearly as much speed or power to ride and will be quite a bit more stable. Especially at lower speeds. That allows you to ride in less wind, with smaller kites, and just rely less on the kite power in general. This is ideal for riding in light winds, riding waves, and riding with more freedom on the board. The 85cm mast works great on the Varial if you need that extra length. -Tucker

How do these compare to the Slingshot wings?
@MACkiteboarding5 жыл бұрын
Drew, Slingshot wings are a bit different in design and size so there is not an exact comparison. I'd say the Carve is like a smaller Space Skate (h4), the Varial medium is a lot like the Gamma (H2) and the Large is similar to the Infinity 76. At least in terms of lift and speed range. -Tucker
