What is needed for EV to be able to replace gasoline fueled products is a move to a family of quick exchangeable power packs compatible with respect in terms of physical and electrical connectivity. This would open up the market for drivers and families living in high density multi family dwelling communities where installation of home charging hookups are not possible. It would eliminate range anxiety and open up usability for long distance interstate travel for manufacturing and sales representative. It would greatly reduce the threat of power grid electrical overloading as regional battery charging depots would be located near generating and renewal power harvesting stations. Also, the legions of tank wagon trucking networks with its inherent empty backhauls would be replaced by power pack transport 18 wheelers. It would also provide a measure of protection from technological obsolescence as breakthroughs in power storage densities are achieved.

Feel free to fact check me marvel has a great website you can ask them questions and look at the frequently asked questions. I don't like the thickness of Lucas fuel additive. Its messier. And gets even thicker in cold. Mystery Oil is stable thickness wise.

I like the engines in the Cadillac. You get good power and gas mileage. It is a little loud, but I can live with that. What I cannot live with is the lack of reliability in the Cadillac division. The lower level GM divisions they have the quality worked out for the most part (Buick, GMC, Cadillac) but with Cadillac is a crapshoot with all the technology they have in them.
@g-mang-man79244 жыл бұрын
Holly, as a long time Toyota and Lexus owner, Highlander is the obvious choice. Also at that price point, keep an eye on the Lexus RX350 also. #1) is always reliability, #2) Toyota Safety Sense, and always with any Toyota product, #3) is resale value. And that said, for long trips, we absolutely adore our Highlander Limited. While it is not an on ramp hugger, the road comfort, seat comfort and quietness are hard to beat (perhaps by the RX350. ) I work on automobiles for a living, and I don't like to have to work on my own cars after work, that is why we are a confirmed Toyota family

Holly, Don't be 'twisted'. You very sensibly keep your cars for a long time so get yourself a highly rational Highlander Hybrid. The CX-9 will burn twice as much gas as the Highlander.
@panzer_TZ4 жыл бұрын
The Highlander Hybrid is also costly, especially considering the CX-9 in Grand Touring trim(all the features of the Signature minus the fancier materials). A Platinum Hybrid hits $50,000; A GT CX-9 is $43,000) According to CR’s own data the CX-9 has had Toyota level reliability. The CX-9 is also matured while the Highlander is in its first model year.(even Toyota isn’t perfect with first model years) Overall, it’s just going to depend on what Holly values.
@rightlanehog31514 жыл бұрын
@@panzer_TZ XLE trim level would be more than sufficient on the Highlander. Choosing a family car that burns nearly twice as much gas is not a rational choice in 2020.

Tesla probably does on their $60k+ model 3s and Ys. Their minimalist interiors and poor quality control are ways to reduce cost. Even if their batteries cost 25k, the rest of the car doesn't cost more than 30k to make. However, other automakers don't have enough volume to make money on EVs yet and it will be a long time before a decent $30k ev will be profitable for anyone as batteries will always cost a lot more than a gas tank.
