This is a beautiful car inside and out. It gets up to speed pretty fast for a four-cylinder. I don’t know I think I may get the six cylinder I have to test drive one to see. I’m used to a V8 but it’s a 21-year-old engine as opposed to a brand new two turbo charged engine. Thanks for doing review .

I don't know what GM is thinking. I don't like the side view. The Chevy Impala 2 LTZ (now discontinued) had a few less features but a much nicer dash and appearance. It was also just under $40 k for basically the same car. I do like the Caddy but I'll have to see it in person. It's attractive from the front and rear. Not many options left out there for the $$.

Is the Auto stop defeatable? 0-60 time? I'm concerned that the acceleration will suffer from the loss of 25 HP over the previous model.

It appears an expensive option package is required to get adaptive cruise, and active lane centering isn’t available at any price. Is this correct? If so it’s a shame Cadillac can’t provide features that are standard on Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, and Subaru sedans.

oldsnwbrdr To be honest I always found those features useless and troublesome. I have that on my 2018 Fusion which is ‘loaded’ and although cool, I never use it.

Wesley Walls I agree. They put a dog of a 4 engine in it. The steering isn’t that bad but not better than the old cts along with the chassis. Guess they are saving it for the fake V version. Why couldn’t GM wait till the Escalade came out so they can put that interior in their cars. Reveal the flagship first, now they have this interior and they are going to change it again...

GM is so messed up. Could have been a beautiful car but the back end of the car looks like a design from a cheap sedan, like the chevy sonic. That drooping rear end is just terrible.

Why does Cadillac have to share showroom with the family disappointments(GMC and Buick) yet again? And didn't Chevrolet used to have its own showroom right in the middle of downtown Durham? GM is like a parent in denial as to how utterly worthless most of her children really are
