My Great Uncle rode for Goodnight as a teenager, later missed the WW1 Draft when the Post Master, finally got word to him down in the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend, chasing wild horses

Lots of horses were needed and used during WW1 so he was doing his part for the war effort. What a great family story!
