2020 Christmas Gingerbread Themed Tags

Hello friends! This is my Christmas 2020 Gingerbread themed tags. The images used for these tags were dies from Cottagecutz, and two Aliexpress Stores (MX-Art Life Store and DIY Artbin Store)
#1 Card stock for Gingerbread is Kraft by Recollection that you get a Michael's. Be on the look out for sales on that.
#2 For the Gingerbread cheeks I use chalk applied with a Q-tip
#3 For the eyes it depends which Gingerbread you are looking at. Some have their eyes cut out so I apply black cardstock to the back of them or some have circles to cut out so I cut them out with black cardstock. For the white, I used this pen: Sakura 37488 Gelly Roll Classic 08 (Medium Pt.) 3PK Pen, White-which is found at Amazon. For the black eyelashes: Sakura Pigma 50037 Micron Blister Card Ink Pen Set, Black, 03 6CT also found at Amazon. If I drew on the eyes, I used a Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Permanent Marker found at Walmart.

How did I miss this wonderful video? Well, here I am to see all your sweet tags. I really stocked up on this particular paper collection...so sweet for Christmas!! Love the traditional colors. As a fellow paper artist and crafter, I stand in awe of all the details you include on each and every tag!!! They are definitely works of the heart. Yes, I still have more of this paper collection as well. It's perfect for Gingerbread. Happy to hear you enjoyed these tags. My recipient's hang their tags on their Christmas trees from what I hear!!! I have a tree I hang them on as well. They look beautiful and bring a homespun look in the decor. Holly, thank you so much for your sweet comment. Usually I send them to family and friends to use. I always include a suggestion on how to use my tags when I mail them. I find that most of my family hang them on their trees. It really touches my heart when I see them post pictures of their Christmas trees and I recognize my tags.....lol You can even tie them to some pretty ribbon and make a tag banner to hang. You did a fabulous job Carol, I love gingerbreads as well, I have a few of your gingerbread dies that I had purchased in the past some from cottage cutz and Aliexpress. Hi Lynda-thanks so much for watching my video and leaving a lovely comment. I make my own sentiments and cut them out with a small tag die. Isn't that wonderful my Granddaughter was born on your Mom's birthday. My husband was routing for the 15th-that's his. Glad you enjoyed the tags for this year. Yeah that Martha Stewart punch is retired. Sorry it's so expensive. The mini bow die was from Aliexpress. It was one of my first Aliexpress purchase a few years ago. I found one at Vicky Arts Store It's $2.57 If you can find that store you will find the bow. Otherwise do like I did-type in bow cutting die and keep scrolling down and if you think you have scrolled to much, keep scrolling. lol It's way down. Martha thank you so much for your sweet comment. The backgrounds and nesting dies are from several different companies. If you are new to crafting, it's nice to have a scalloped oval die with the matching plain stitched ovals to go with them for layering. The same with the circles and squares. That way you can mix and match. Companies like spellbinders, sizzix, my favorite things, echo park offer a good selection to chose from. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
