I found your channel because my 1 year old sun is absolutely obsessed with tractors. Your videos are his favorite. I like find them interesting as well. You feature things we don't see as much here in Northwest Washington.

Good to see corn going back into the ground. Been a long winter. Not necessarily hard, but long. I think the IH Quadtracs look really great. They look very intimidating.

Being from snow country it took me a while to get used to the narrow roads. Then my wife and I went to Ireland and suddenly the roads here don't seem nearly so narrow. I drove down some roads over there, what would be a county road in this country, so narrow that when you passed another car you side mirrors hit the hedges. Most of the hedges were grown around rock fences so not sure what you do if you get a flat. We had rented a little Toyota as well. I'm not sure it would be possible for two large trucks to pass. They would have had to fold in their mirrors at the minimum. Watching that tractor driving down the road reminded me of what it felt like driving that Toyota down those roads.

What is behind that front fold planter? Just something to work the soil behind the planter wheels? Does it help with the pinch rows or something?
@bigtractorpower4 жыл бұрын
This farm also does allot of strip till where the tillage tool only works out s 30 inch wide slot for the planter to put the seed in. The spikes aerate the soil tamped down by the planter wheels in the controlled traffic 40ft passes of strip till.

Since the track driven tractors have been out for a few years has it been determined which style....tracks or tires ...are more productive and cheaper to run ?
@mfreund154484 жыл бұрын
Freedom Ring Depends on the needs of the farm. The best is subjective to your methods of farming.
