We had our 4586 overhauled and the original engine turned up to roughly 375hp. We fabricated a few mounts to get a little more weight on it so it could pull this same DMI disc ripper. It did it for a few years till a front axle snapped. Hell of a tractor!

Great vid BTP👍we have same 9370 scraper version with over 20,000 hrs, 350hp, duals all round, pulling 40ft airseeder. Inside the cab we have foot value you can tap to change from high to low range which we use at headlands before turning around. Steiger are best tractors out there, early 9100 - 9200 axles used to get hot but 9300 they had it sorted but not big cab compare to today Steigers but easy to operate. When 535 Steiger was replace with next model, a lot scraper guys were disappointed because new model was lighter chassis. I got chance ride in NH version 550 gee the ride comfort has come long way n pull scraper like it was nothing. Scrapers are mainly use dairy irrigation around our area.

S Evans you actually just reminded me of something. I watched a 9 shank Krause dominator (which requires 270 to 360 PTO horsepower) stop an AGCOSTAR 8425 (425 engine, probably around 390-400 PTO horsepower if they had one) dead in its tracks. was running good and strong and once it hit hard enough ground you heard it almost stall the tractor 😂😂😂

I drove a 9350 belonging to a neighbour some years ago. Nice tractor I think it was a 24? speed powershift. It amazing how fast they cultivate these days. I never go that fast. 3 mph with a disc plough and 6 mph while sowing is fast enough for me and my 1586 Inter. And she is pulling implements a 130 horse would pull. The 4586 will pull them faster only because she so much bigger.

I agree with you Randy!! I am also in MW Missouri and nearly everyone has gone no till for quite a distance from us in every direction. Inputs have gone down and yields have not suffered as a result. Much of this ground around here suffered from years of excessive tillage. Many of these farms are now recovering because of conservation tillage practices.
