Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

It looks like fun, you are a great teacher. Thank you for taking the time to show us how it's done. You are so clear the way you explain things! Thank you!

@TheChaosJohnson 4 жыл бұрын
My 2 cents I do like seeing the new equipment for 2 reasons 1.) I like seeing how the stuff that sits on those nice showroom floors *actually perform* over a season instead of hearing the fluff that sales people tell you. I get they're doing their job but it's nice to see the machines and equipment speak for itself 2.) I like seeing the "kid in a candy store" look on your face when new stuff shows up. Although it is a little tricky at some points to keep up with what's staying/ going and when, overall, it is a nice touch. Although, with all the cool stuff coming through, it would be nice to see you run some of your own stuff from time to time, but that's just me splitting hairs and being a super picky longtime fan. I know that I personally would watch regardless of whether you have the demo stuff or not because I'm here for the people. The shiny stuff will fade but you guys have remained the same, and that's why I've stuck around for quite a while now Although the new stuff is super cool.

I grew up in a town/city of 32,000, paved streets, curb, etc., but when I was 5 or 6 we visited an uncle who had a dairy farm. Ever since then I wanted to become a farmer...never did, though. I love the machinery of farming. I love working hard outside; love the land, the soils, and I love fixing things. I would love to spend time with an experienced farmer, helping him get the work done and learning about soils, plowing, tilling, discing, planting, and harvesting. You farmers are heroes, the backbone of life. Rock on, brothers!

Been watching since you started your channel and founded the channel by accident, and this is my first comment: As a Marine who retired in 2010 and was into farming when I was a kid. I was looking for farm channels with the interested to get back to farming. I ended up only hobby farming but I am still impressed with your family and your goal to inform people. Outstanding Job and continue to do what you have been doing you make me proud as a American.

I like you thanking, us the viewers, who are entertained by what you do. I'm a electrical contractor that grew up in Kansas around farming. To this day, there is nothing better then getting to operate new equipment and be amazed by the innovative minds that keep improving it. I remember watching you in the beginning when you couldn't believe you had 20k viewers. I have to say, your success is in what you do. You are an excellent speaker and entertainer, with a sense of humor that I enjoy very much. I would hate to think how much you could get done with 2 hands. Its a good thing your not a smoker. Keep up the great work.

WOW, that;'s a STORM of equipment and activity you have going on! Exciting times. I'm pumped to see a MANDAKO product on your farm. I hope it demos well and does a good job for you. They are made in small town Manitoba 20 Miles east of where I live. Great family owned company building quality farm equipment. Too bad on the hose, but like you said it does happen, just sucks when that is your first experience.

Millennial Farmer has a great format and is quite knowledgeable about the whole farming thing. It is evident that they are performing well otherwise the implement dealers would not be supplying their equipment for viewing. Thank you implement dealers and Millennial Farmer for your informative video's. Also thanks to the Millennial Farmer family members for participating.

Farm Rescue out of Jamestown ND is an awesome organization they go out and plant for those injured sick or otherwise unable to do it themselves. They were also responsible for hundreds of load of hay delivered last year up and down the missouri and Mississippi River after their devastated flooding, Thanks Zack I hope you get that 500,000 mark they are such a great organization.

Just a tip man! Turn the ignition on count to 4 then Crank it letting it “glow” when turning the ignition on (only on diesel) is good for it to burn fuel better and will start up better :)) it’s good because it lets the glow plugs warm the cylinder a tiny bit and be warmer in general because it’s a glow plug that heats up :)
