I have a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black a little bit 5 weeks ago just shortly after my 2015 Ford Escape SE died on me just after an oil leak in the engine. I even texted my sister about it and was stuck at the dealership all afternoon. I was about to cry w/o having a vehicle to drive. I was very lucky to have it. I came back to the dealership just after the title of my last vehicle. I even did all of the paperwork and paid it full by a check just after my sister put some money in my checking account.

How do you charge the battery if its dead and the trunk doesn't open

Just bought one. . . love it, EXCEPT... the foot-activated lift gate doesn't always open. Is there a trick to it?

With regards to the foot activated liftgate, make sure you are actually kicking underneath the vehicle and not behind it. It usually works best if you kick just to the right of the license plate. If it does not go up, try waving your foot side to side while it is under the back of the Escape.

Laso be sure you make one step backwards. (A safety feature to be sure the door not hit you when you open it)
