Thanks for the video. I’m doing this soon. Did the bilsteins come with all the rubber isolators and washers?
@STEVEHADDOCK7 күн бұрын
No problem. Yes, they came with all that.

I'm going to keep a eye on mine for now 13.5k. I do like those something I can do myself. Great install.

Thanks for the comment. I have only been driving it a couple of days now, but they definitely seem to be an improvement.

good stuff steve. thank you. love your vids. that steep driveway of your neighbors is a p.o.s. that is a deal breaker for me. i would never own a driveway like that !!

I agree, I don’t think I could ever own a house without a decent driveway. Where would you work on your vehicles? 😂…Thanks for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it.

Hi…I have a 2022 F350 Tremor, and I really love it! Looking to replace shocks at 40k, and will probably go this route. Is your truck stock height for a Tremor? If so….any rubbing on those tires? I will probably replace the Dura tracs with WildPeak here shortly….just wondering if your tire size was an option? Thank you…

The Bilstein shocks have been nice. I do have 1 1/2” leveling blocks on the front. The tires rub slightly at full lock but not bad at all.

10:20 That might be a good use of a ratcheting box end wrench. The allen wrench is a good solution. I have a couple sets of ratcheting wrenches and don't use them a whole lot. I only have 15,000 on my f250, and already thinking about new shocks. :)

I hear you on that, I like my ratcheting wrenches but unfortunately didn’t have that size. I waited until I had a few more miles on mine than yours but I probably would have done it sooner if I had the opportunity.

Nice job . Your truck looks so good with Chrome bumpers . The new painted are ok i guess but i still like the chrome. Painted bumpers are just a passing fad . 👍

Instructions say to install the shock with the dust boot down not up.
@STEVEHADDOCK2 ай бұрын
Not sure where you got that information but Bilstein shocks have labels on them that show which way is up. The f-150 Bilsteins are boot down but they also have the same type label on them that shows the direction.
