I have a MK7 Fiesta ST too. I was watching this video and noticed the VIC plates and then thought "isn't that the southern highlands". Bumpy roads but I love that cruise through the back of mittagong through to kangaloon and robertson.

Great review ! Sounds great the 3 pot. I’m tossing up changing my mk 7 into this or going a bit bigger to an i30n ... If you didn’t bounce off the limiter would have been a bit quicker to 100, but as you said that’s not what these are about.

I would have chosen this new Fiesta as my next car when i finish university. But we here in south Africa wont be getting it, because according to Ford our Fuel is too low quality for the new fiesta, so to avoid mechanical problems they wont be selling it here. Fantastic, as if we didn't already have a small range of sports car options to choose from, they take away the Fiesta st which used to sell really well here in the previous generation

I feel your pain. I think there's a hole in our market for enthusiasts that the Polo GTI doesn't fulfill. I like the new Polo but I've never really liked GTIs. I fell in love with the previous gen Fiesta ST. I drove the Swift Sport (ZC33s) a few times and on track (Kyalami) and while it's a great car (and faster than factory claims) I still feel like something is missing. I might still get the SSS though, maybe get some parts from CTC for it...

Yeah can confirm this is all around the Southern Highlands. Would love to see more POV driving videos around here. Good to see my stomping ground in a professionally put together video.

how do you rate this vs the Gr Yaris (considering the extra near $15k of the Yaris) Is it that much better??

Other reviewers have pointed out that the price difference is too great - this Fiesta ST is much more bang-for-the-buck and more fun to drive at a speed that you won't lose your license. The GR Yaris begs to be pushed to the limit, so...bye bye license! haha

The standard GR understeers more than the Fiesta and doesn't like corners. The only up side is extra power, but that can be fixed in the Fiesta with a stage 2 Revo kit. The Rallye version is much better as it sports better tyres and LSDs front and rear, but at a considerable price hike. I bought an ST over the Yaris after test driving both, for all the above reasons and do not regret it one bit.

Hey bro just wanted to share some suggestions while you do pov. Dont throw head too down while showing wheels or exhaust for example Try to keep it still. Watch a youtuber Faisal khan maybe it'll help. Because I love these pov car reviews especially cars like these but few people are doing pov's you know.

Fellow Americans: Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the Fiesta ST 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. ATE Continental Freins à disque avants ATE Continental qui équipent la Fiesta nouvelle neuve actuelle:voyez ,où plutôt écouter ce qui se passe lorsqu'on freine,en terminaison de freinage,c'est assourdissant,à croire qu'il n'y a pas de garniture et que cela frotte plaquette sans garniture contre disque sonore,et ceci n'est qu'une partie de ces freins lamentables (car c'est tout le temps de l(année),car EN PLUS ,à l'arret,en tournant le volant à droite, comme à gauche,on doit suporter un craquement métallique en démarrage de braquage,tout le temps aussi.! Pour le chef d'atelier,c'est normal...voyons donc! mais après des milliers de kilomètres maintenant,les crissements de tôle en terminaison de freinage sont toujours làl et aussi dans les braquage de roues à l'arret! Pas la moindre amélioration! Mais ceci n'est pas sans conséquence pour Ford,car à cause de ces ATE Continental,autour de moi,plus personne ne veut prendre une Ford neuve.Qui voudrait avoir,à vie,une voiture qui fait un tel vacarme?! Qui plus est,à faire fuir un acheteur,invendable!

Not about the 0-60 times. It’s about the driving experience and the ST has no equal in its class! Compared to the SSS it’s on a different level.

Actually, 7.32 seconds is what pdrive got, so not really. Motor magazine got 6.6 from the ST.

@@lees7858 I severely dislike how tuning houses do staged tunes now, as there is no standard definition of what a stage includes. I know stage 1 is usually just a flash tune, but isn't it easier to then say tune? Things get murkier still in subsequent stages, it makes tuning your car seem like a menu selection from Need for Speed. That being said, if you're going to play with one of these, Revo is the way to go.
