Personally I’m enjoying my 019 SuperCrew Ranger XLT FX4. I think t’s the right sized truck at the right time for Ford. The 2.7 EcoBoost and the new 3.0 PowerStroke diesel would’ve been nice engine options ... perhaps with the 021 re design ... mine came with dealer installed MagnaFlow catback exhaust, FPP Fox 2.0 coilover lift/level kit w/18” KMC wheels and Nitto AT’s. I purchased it at the end of the year and after discounts/rebates I took it home w/a mid 30’s price out the door. So there’s good pricing out there depending on ones needs/budget. Ford should’ve sold the Ranger Raptor in America as the FX4 option package 🤣🤣

hi I have a question about the towing capacity, I’ve heard advertising saying the Ranger can tow up to 7500#, but when I have checked specs on KBB it only says 3500#, why is that?
@RichmondFordWestGlenAllen4 жыл бұрын
I can't speak to KBB and their fact-checking on specs but the maximum tow capacity for every 2019-2020 Ranger trim, 2wd or 4wd, and cab size is 7,500lbs when properly equipped. Meaning with the trailer tow package equipped.

It’s too expensive, period. I have an 18 F-150 and get 25 mpg and that little piece of crap gets around 17 at best. That’s another reason Ford is being sued, again. $26,000-38,000 is ridiculous price. Buy a F-150, you will be happy.

Not as expensive as the 150 I know I have bought many new ones. I get 28-30 mpg around town driving actual figured with paper and pen. @RichmondFordWestGlenAllen4 жыл бұрын
The ride in the Ranger is smooth I assure you. The shake was not the driver's head but rather the camera mount that was an extended arm coming off of the headrest. Most of the vehicles we film in our videos feature a suction mount on the sunroof for these shots which is much sturdier and provides a smoother image. The Ranger does not offer a sunroof in the 2020 model.

@@KenDavis-uo8kq I've owned my Ranger since May of last year. Overall, the vehicle is great. I can't complain. This was the first truck I ever bought, and I went top of the line. My experiences are only in the Lariat trim. Pros: Fuel Efficiency. For a truck, I can't complain. Yes, I'm only hitting 19MPG combined (Mostly City, and as measured today after the Pandemic hit...), but quite honestly, my old Focus didn't get that much better combined. Last I reset it was... gosh, many months ago. ((Another thing to keep in mind, I've got upgraded all-terrain tires, which do affect efficiency. And I'm not the most efficient conscious driver. You'd probably be able to do better. )) Power. That little 4Cyl Engine is stronger than it first seems. No problem passing. Stability. While the FX4 Package makes the truck feel bouncy on smaller bumps are lower speeds, I've got no issues going 120+Km/h (roughly 75MPH?). I once was going 140 and it didn't feel like it. Terrain Management. Seriously amazing feature in the FX4 Package. Especially in the winter. Cons: It's a truck. For better and worse XD Turbo Lag. For the most part, it is not bad. But sometimes, you can feel the lag... Though it doesn't hurt my overall enjoyment. Conclusion: Take this with a grain of salt, as I've never driven any competitor's vehicles, but my 2019 Ranger is the best vehicle I ever owned. Do try out other trucks. I sat in the Chevy one, and didn't like the seats at all, but never been in the Tacoma.

The relatively new to the US market Ford Ranger is a mediocre vehicle. This is due to the manufacturer’s lack of both ethical and sensible business practices. I speak from first hand experience, having purchased a 2019 Lariat crew cab. There is a great amount of irony associated with this critique because this truck has a lurking potential for greatness. Just look at it, then drive it, it is impressive. It delivers a ride that a full size pick-up just can not match. So what’s my gripe? One engine no options and there should be, even though the stock engine performs just fine. The same applies to having a stick shift available. The rear seat is one piece a folding seat adds so much versatility. The bed lacks all the extras that make your truck functional, and the tailgate just flops down, without the easy access system. Inside the Lariat trim is not a Lariat trim, it isn’t even an XLT. Missing are memory seat function for two, vertical power seat adjustment, heated steering wheel, power sliding rear window. The 2020 model changed nothing. This isn’t the first blunder Ford has made, the scrimpy mentality and lack of foresight that brought us the “Pinto” is still galloping around in the Ford corral.
@RichmondFordWestGlenAllen4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your insight. Sorry that the 2019 did not live up to your expectations. We knew going in having the Ranger back in the US that we were getting a retooled for the US market global T6 Ranger and it wasn't a completely new design. That being said the rumors are that Ford will be releasing a newly designed Ranger in the next couple of model years and will most likely build upon learning what consumers want in their mid-size pickups and borrowing from technology in the upcoming Bronco (they share a production plant) which could include new engine and transmission options. We can keep our fingers crossed.
