Located in downtown Los Angeles, Homeboy Industries provides hope and job training for formerly gang involved and previously incarcerated men and women so they can redirect their lives and become contributing members of society. By utilizing a combination of donations and social enterprises, Homeboy Industries is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose innovative model of therapeutic wraparound services has helped the organization become one of the most successful reentry and gang intervention programs on the planet.

I grew up in your area and watched it go from a kind-hearted community. I used to walk from the Golden Gate Theater in East Los after dark without a care in the world, Once the streets were swallowed whole by gangs, the entire place changed. How wonderful that Homeboy is changing it back. Blessings, Father Boyle and Homeboy Industries. Makes me cry for joy!

When I was 18 my father was deported and left me and my mom in a financial struggle, I felt lost in this world. Thanks to Homeboy industries I was able to get my foot into the working industry! Gave me a purpose and I was able to help my mom and send a little money to my dad.

Mexican men and others have so much to offer in this world but so much could be against them in life. We need more programs like Homeboy Industries.
