Are you still happy with the exchange ? mt07 for cbr650r?

@@sileniu 100% haven’t regretted it once. Feels more stable and sturdy, especially at higher speeds. More confident when cruising on the motorway. Really enjoy the look and feel of this bike. Girlfriend loves it too. I think I might go for a fireblade next because it feels similar and I will be keeping this one for my girlfriend or to use if I want a more comfortable long ride. Best decision I made last year, would highly recommend

@@snap1966 Congratulations. It’s been about 7ish months since I’ve been using it, still find every excuse to hop on it. Haven’t had any problems or issues as of yet, fingers crossed it stays that way. Hope you enjoy riding the Cbr as much as I do

Great review. I'm currently deciding between this bike and the Ninja 650. Would be great to see a review on the Ninja too.
@RevZolution
@RevZolution 3 жыл бұрын
I'm definitely going to be reviewing the 650. I had a 2018 ninja 650. It was my first bike. Absolutely cracking bike and loved the look of it. Given the choice of the two now, I'd take the Honda. The ninja wins on looks I think, but the Honda has more power, inline 4 which is so much smoother than the parallel twin, price wise..... The honda is more expensive though

What’s the difference between 2019 and 2020? Cause I wanna get one of these for myself and was wondering about it
@RevZolution
@RevZolution 3 жыл бұрын
I'm not actually sure. I think it's the exact same model with no changes. Just registered in a different year. I can't find anything different. There's optional extras you can have that are available to both years. Obviously a 2019 would be slightly cheaper as they've already been registered with most dealers

I bought a matt black CBR650R last year, and it is a gem to ride, especially with the quick-shifter. Coincidentally I bought it from Crescent Honda in Southampton. Are you from Southampton yourself?

Is this a ok starter bike? I'm about 6' tall and 230lb and I don't think a 300 will carry me very far if you know what I mean?
@RevZolution
@RevZolution 3 жыл бұрын
Yes it's an absolute perfect first bike. Ample power. Your right a 300 would be painful. You'd get bored very quickly on that. You won't on this

"A good mediocre bike" are you sure this is what you meant to say?
@RevZolution
@RevZolution 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting. Yeah its definitely a good mediocre bike in my eyes. It doesn't give me the sense of riding a sports bike like a ninja 636, gsxr 600, R6 etc. It feels too upright and reserved for a "sports bike" but none the less it's a good bike.

RevZolution I have to agree with you, this is a very sensible bike to ride if you aren’t going to the track.
@RevZolution
@RevZolution 3 жыл бұрын
@@madingahmar4420 definitely. Its a shame that honda don't do a sports bike that is up there with the other 600cc bikes
@TheRtHonJimStiffOG
@TheRtHonJimStiffOG 3 жыл бұрын
I think you've got the nail on the head. It's not a sports bike, it isn't in the same class as a 600cc supersport, it doesn't have the ergos, suspension, brakes of zx6r, r6 etc. A better comparison is to the ninja 650 which has 75hp while a zx6r has 130ish. It sits in a bit of a nomansland where it can still get à2 compliance when restricted but is way faster than its real world competition. Perhaps it's too flattering to the bike to compare with true supersports bikes as I hole-heartedly agree that it's found wanting in this class. Reality is it's more of a beginner, do everything bike to jump on after you've passed your test, it's just got a lot more power than its competition. That's my opinion anyway

@@TheRtHonJimStiffOG definitely agree with what you've said James. The 650 ninja is definitely one to compare it against
