2020 Honda GoldWing DCT Review After 5000KM-What I like and What I don't Like about it

this is what I like and what I don't like about the new goldwing, honestly there are only a few small things to pinpoint and there is not much to complain. excuse me if the talking is not smooth and I have to think about what I'm saying, it is because i have no script and that is the way I like it since I want you to have the friendly feeling of the conversation rather than listening to a prepared speech! any way the 2020 honda goldwings are amazing overall and really recommend it to even new riders like myself. let me know what you think also let me know if you like to see videos like this or something with a script prewritten! thank you.

Nice review, I agree with your small issues. I have the 2019 wing in matte silver. Solved the trunk storage issue by adding a Harley razor style trunk. Bolts right into stock rear rack mounting holes. Ride safe, enjoy!

The Gold Wing, hands down, is a hard bike to beat in many metrics. I agree on all your points PW. Honda can do better in the areas you mentioned. The other bikes to consider would be BMW’s best selling motorcycle it’s R1250 GSA and of course Indian’s Challenger. They both have their list of compromises. As all bikes do. I didn’t say Harley Davidson because they have remained pretty much unimproved and don’t seem concerned with what consumers truly want or what their competition is doing. Harley’s paint quality however is best in class. Unfortunately Harley has been in a world of hurt over the last decade with falling sales and Shareholder value drops. Good review. I have the 2019 matte metalic grey model. It even had scratches new from the dealership which I have added to. The durability of the paint is awful. Also agree with you on the Bluetooth connectivity. I also accidently marked my R-side mirror with the brake lever. This bike is easier to ride than my 2016 Moto Guzzi California Audace.

I'm planning to upgrade from Triumph Bonneville T100 to GL. What's your view on it? Also contemplating between 2012+ models or 2018+, Kindly share your thoughts

Hello my friend, I'm not qualified to comment on Triumph, but for the GL aim for the highest model if you buying brand new, I believe DCT is the biggest feature in these bikes which you can only find in 2018+. the goldwing is a beast and at the same time very smooth but at the end of the day it is just a bike like all other bikes, If it is me I would definitely upgrade only if I have to. otherwise the best bike is the one that you already ride.

I have a HD with Matt Black but never have any issue. That's the only Honda I like because of the color as what I told you I have been waiting to the closest dealer by me to get that color. You don't mind if I ask you what is your height and inseam to fit more comfortable with this Goldwing. Let me know pls. Also, as a new rider I was impressed with you. Thanks.

Great review.....its truly a nice size bagger....its girth us not to wide. The transmission is very clunky...its not smooth at all. How does the stereo sound? My yamaha is also that muted color....its a nice color...however...i would love a white goldwing. Pipe wrencher is it true that you guys & gals (Canadian Citizens) are receiving $2000 per month from your Governnent because of Covid?

Thank you my friend, Honestly i don't use stereo, just tried it a couple of times and it sounds fine. The government pays $500 a week to people with %50 reduced income compare to last year also if someone has stopped working due to covid.

Meanwhile working class americans all get treated like they ride Vespa Scooters. Hopefully with the elections soon approaching..we will get a little more $$ help from our newly elected officisls. not really, I can say it does better than most touring bikes but not made for unpaved rides.

Dont buy Matte finish in any bike i find they dont hold up
