It didn't show you wiring the winch picking up the key on wire etc.

There is an ignition wire pre built into the Honda wiring harness that I picked up to have ignition power. it is a blue connector that is on the frame bar on the drivers side under the hood.

The title says "winch mount" the instruction that come with my rough country kit were badly copied copies of the instruction. half of the figures had half of the picture cut off. So I was looking for and mounting video. I already had the wires run.

I was in the same boat as you Larry. I was not impressed with the instructions. I took mine on and off and had to walk away a few times. I tried to point out in the video what I figured out once I had it right.

The person doing this video is not doing a good job of researching the process of installing a winch in a honda Talon. If he did he would find out that the honda comes with a mount and screws for winch solenoid box. It’s right next to the leads and the steering column he showed. You need to remove the top plastic to see it, I am guess that’s why he installed the solenoid in the wrong place if you want a 2nd battery or a from cubby box then the solenoid is in the wrong place.Sorry to post this but I am noticing a tried with this guy. Seems like a nice guy just doesn’t have his ducks in order.
