you were not stuck you just showed the need for a winch and upgrades ,, there is always that bolt the factory screws up .. looking good ,, keep the videos coming ,, they are great to watch ..

I think you need to either respool your winch and spool it up in reverse or flip over your winch, cuz something ain't right with that. Your winch line shouldn't have to go up, at an angle, to go through the fairlead. That will put a lot of pressure on the rope and shread it.

I used the same mount with a different winch and noted the same thing. Not sure how to fix it since the line shouldn't come over the top.

hi the hot positive should have been the female not the male , in case it gets pulled it wont short out . the winch rope should go straight from the fairlead to the drum , easy sorted run the rope all out then rewind on , you may need to swap the power wires to get the in/out on the switch the right way round
