I totally agree. You can get a 2020 Ram Night Edition equipment with more, for $36,900 right now and lease it for $279/month, or an underequipt 2020 Gladiator for more. You could even through an echo diesel in the Ram for an extra $4999 and still be cheaper than an overland but I've seen review videos showing where the echo diesel is getting about 30mpg hw. Unless your off roading 24/7? What would you choose with what you can actually afford right now, 6-10-20, what would you choose?

Just leased a 2021 Overland. It is simply awesome. Love the drive quality over the road, and off of it! I didn't think that I needed all the off road amenities to give me an epic ride. I took it to Bundy Hill in MI. It took all that the former gravel pit had to offer. Except for the up hill sand trails. I guess I just need bidder and more gnarly tires for that. I did have a blast, and can't wait to go back. Anyway my contention is, if I will be driving it on the road 90% of the time, then a Ruby may not be the best choice. That's my opinion of course! Be safe out there, but have fun!! ✌

I just bought the 2020 overland. Love driving it. Has 37 inch tires when I bought it Damn thing has everything..1 thing though anyone get water on there floor board in the rain.

Acceleration is not only dictated by the lift and tires... If making that comparison I would include the gear ratio- IE 4.10 vs 3.73 etc....

@Ben Hardy Thanks for the great review. If I'm being honest with myself, the overland would probably be the most practical for me. But as you said, its kinda sad not to have all the off road capabilities that a jeep is really known for, kinda makes it a "neutered dog". My question is (knowing there will be a slight ride comfort difference due to suspension) lets say I chose the Mojave (rubicon 2nd choice) couldn't I upgrade the interior to practically the exact same specs as the overland ? On jeeps build website, I believe I accomplished this , but at about a $10,000 upgrade and that was even with all the offroad upgrades. Tell me what you think please and keep the great videos coming !

OK all you saying it's overpriced..... isn't being overpriced relative to the buyer, competition and what you as the buyer are willing to pay. Currently there is no competition, so it boils down to how bad to you want it.

The original tires that come stock on a overland will do remarkably well off road or in snow. All weather tires.

Huge difference. I have 37s on my 2020 overland with the full spot light package. Thing looks awesome. I've had more compliments people hanging out there windows with the thumbs high. So I like it. Taking her a 1000 mile journey in 2 weeks just me and her. Going to do some bass fishing.. Wish me luck
