The original wiper blades that came with the vehicle seem to be held in with just the top clip. I don't really like that kind of setup. I've always used Napa Exact Fit that actually snaps on the J Hook. I see that these Bosch Icons look like they snap on the J Hook and they have a clip that snaps down onto the top of the housing for double security, is that how they work?

They have a cover over the J hooks. J hooks seem to be the most common style I see on cars these days. The irony is I got these blades from NAPA. The clip on top, I assume, is for double security; I honestly think it is primarily for looks; for the record, jeep made this model for over ten years. It is possible different years had different set ups for how the blades attach.
