I always use rain x on both my cars and I use rain x washer fluid so you only have to apply once a year and the washer fluid will reapply when you use it. Because of this technique I barely use my wipers so they last 2-3 years or more.

Thanks for your input Boston. 👍 I'll definitely try the RainX washer fluid & see how it does.

Completely off topic, but how do you open your hood with those LED light pod brackets in the way?
@thisguyvlad172 жыл бұрын
Same as normal, the brackets are bent up over the hood. So when it's open they don't really hit anything.
@TonyTheTruckGuy2 жыл бұрын
@@thisguyvlad17 Ohhhh. They must attach to the hood itself then? I guess I thought they maybe bolted to the wiper cowl/firewall lip.
@thisguyvlad172 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I should have started with that. They bolt directly on top of the hinges.

@@thisguyvlad17 Gotcha. Thanks for the reply! Side note, I just realized you haven’t hit 1k subs yet which is shocking. I’ve stumbled upon a few of your videos and they’re all pretty good. Keep up the good work man, almost to that monetize mark haha

Thanks and great video. I know wipers are expensive, but here's a tip Buy them from Costco it should only cost $5-7 dollars. Here's the kicker you can return the wipers (Goodyear Brand) and get new ones no questions asked thank me laster 👍. Windshield fluid buy the windex brand from Dollar store works great.
@thisguyvlad173 жыл бұрын
Good to know, thanks! Yeah, most wipers have a 1year warranty, so you can return them within the year for a new set.

Do not buy a 12R rear wiper. You will scrap the third brake light and ruin the paint. Make sure it’s an 11R
