My head unit won't show up on the Alexa app, whether I try under "Automotive accessory" or "Headset", I've already updated it as well but it's no good. It's a X380BTS-Im located in Mexico, would that have anything to do with this issue?

I just bought a KD-X360BTS two months ago. Please don't tell me i wasted my money and that Alexa won't work on it. When I go into my Alexa App and search for Headphone devices like your video instructs, it never finds my KD-X360BTS like it does in your video.

Can you use the Alaxa Wake word instead of pushing the O button ?

Alexa voice control was not available for this generation of receivers from the 2020 release of these receivers, however, all current Alexa Enabled receivers have Voice activation. Thanks!

Too bad when you ask Alexa to make a call it does but uses the phone speaker and mic. I have to use Google to dial a number then I hear and speak via the radio.

Alexa app is up to date but stereo says its disconnected. Bluetooth works fine to play music but cant make calls. Any advice?

You might need to clear the Bluetooth Connection and re-establish a new connection. Delete the receiver from your connection list from your smartphone. Before you reconnect the BlueTooth connection, find "initialize receiver" in settings and reset the receiver. This will make sure you don't have any previous BlueTooth connections in your history ( this resets the receiver to default settings ) Thanks!

@@JVCMobileEntertainment i tried making my phone forget the Bluetooth connection receiver & then reconnect but nothing changed. Do you think it might not be connecting because of alexas recent update? Other people have been having issues after updating.

I am using this head unit with four speakers connected with this unit Without any amplifier This head unit heat sink is Heating like fire My finger is burnt when i touched it So pls reply Its normally heat Or any problem in the unit...

Multi Tech Chauhan, It is normal for a heat sink to get warm, or even hot when under load. To ensure the best performance and reliability. Make sure you are connected to 4 ohm Speakers and you have high-quality connections and grounds to ensure proper operation. Poor grounds and overloading the internal amp below 4 ohms will cause excessive heat from resistance. This is the largest contributing factor to heat. It's not likely there is an issue with the receiver, but excessive heat can be a sign that there is an issue with the configuration or installation. Thanks!
