This bike is only available in Europe and Canada and comes with a price tag of $14,500 (CAD). The Z1000R has a top speed of approximately 260 km/hr and has an aggressive Sugomi Design that features sharp lines and a muscular bodywork. For 2020, this bike is bigger and better than ever before; it comes with an upgraded engine that has more power, more torque and even greater instant throttle response.

Is it that much better than the z900 that is $5000 cheaper?

The Z900 is a more popular bike and it’s sold worldwide. There’s not a lot of sales for the Z1000R that’s why it’s only available in Europe and Canada. A 1000cc engine is not very necessary. If your riding in the city and highway there are always speed limits so you won’t always hit it’s full potential. The Z900 is “all-new” with upgraded technology and it’s also a lot lighter too.
