GTX plus DCT is the choice but I don't need many features n sunroof as its a liability n is not durable.Overpriced too ! City vcvt was the choice but the need of hour is c- suv.Loved Ford Ecosport Titanium petrol automatic but discouraged as milage is hardly 8 kmpl.Prefer European / American or Japanese models.Appreciate if u advise soonest .Thank you again !

If you are going to spend a lot of time in traffic, both gearboxes make sense. However, if you want total convenience of an automatic, skip the iMT and get DCT instead. The iMT is for those occasional drivers who want the pleasure of a manual without troubling the left foot.

If 50 km / day and there will be additional vacation drives, I would suggest you go for an automatic. Given that yearly running moves over 20k kms. But if traffic is too much of an issue, then iMT makes sense. The turbo-petrol motor is fairly efficient if driven with a light right foot. So based on traffic conditions, you can make your decision.

In instructions, it is written that "Do not press the brake pedal by mistake during gear shift". Is this applies while shifting down as well?? How does it work?

You can use the brakes, but what the warning means is that do not mistake the brake pedal for the clutch. You can brake all that you want, but just don't mistake the brake pedal for the clutch.

Nice video and explanations..... 1.I am planning to buy HTX 1.5 diseal manual.....my usage per month 2500 to 3000 km average.....both city and highways what your opinion I choosen manual because of I am looking mileage can I expect the same mileage in IMT too..... 2.most it the KZbin review rear seat not comfort.....width of the car is little bit higher than other SUV like breeza,Nexon,exosport segment ....but all are says not comfort rear seat what's your opinion pls.....

For such a high usage, buy the diesel automatic. Makes more sense. Get extended warranty. Comfort is subjective, depends on family size, family SIZE and how many times you drive with all seats occupies. Do check the car based on how you will use it 90% of the time, and not for the rest 10% which.

If you are new to driving, I would say get the iMT. It would be great to learn the tricks without having to worry about the clutch. For just 500 km a month, petrol will fit just fine.

If your end use is mostly in the city, then get the Diesel AT. But if you want highway fun drives, go for the iMT. Also, buy the diesel only if you’re manual driving is going to exceed 20-25k kms

Not at all.. it runs same as DCT .. no rolling on slopes. It's a perfect combination.. it will run on highway like manual and automatic in traffic
