Steve finally gets his hands on this magnificent on and off road vehicle for a full review and test drive. The Defender is back at last and it really delivers. Check it out and see if you agree!

One of the best reviews in terms of presentation style. Factual, informative but not overbearing.

This car (or truck?....) is one whale of a beautiful vehicle. I saw one yesterday at the dealer in Wichita, KS, and it’s a most appealing vehicle. IMO, it’s the best Land Rover ever built. Size, utility, capability, capacity, visual appearance, tech appointments, etc., it can do it all.

Actually my favorite Land Rover design. I liked the Evoque and the others language but this is definitely a standout in the suv landscape.

Does the middle row seat recline?

The reason why you can’t get the front bench and the +2 is because a longer defender 130 is coming with 8 seats... so I assume with that front bench and +2 being able to be configured together.

I'll bet the 8 seater idea is not allowed because they're going to release a larger version of the Defender in a year or two which will allow for that.

Nice truck, but a bit much for my taste. I was a big fan of the LR3 & LR4 that later morphed to look like every other SUV on the road and they lost me. But you know the vast majority of the buyers of this one will never see any off-road action, unless you consider running over your neighbor's lawn jockey and/or garbage can 'off-roading'.

Great vehicle! No doubt. But after owning one(110 first edition) for 2 months I am a bit disappointed. Lots of glitches with the infotainment and no hot spot and no adaptive cruise control. I understand it’s an off roader but to get there I need to drive at least 3 hrs. From the city. So ACC. Is important
@beaviccoon4703 жыл бұрын
The adaptive cruise control and the hotspot thingy are optional extras and when a brand new car comes out, it is sometimes expected to get a few issues with the first lot of cars but with updates and fixes it should be fine.
@lameduck36303 жыл бұрын
Maybe you just haven't found the button for the cruise control?

Sorry, This defender needs at least 33" tires on 18" rims with a rear locker. Do those and then come back. Those tires shown are laughable.
