I love the little but bulky SUV! And the surfer van aswell! Whaha "saving me 50 hours"... you are the best youtuber I know who drops his jokes on such a subtle and casual way.I think the little SUV looks a lot like the current stream of electric SUVs like the Kona and Niro, don't you think?

I think city needs more buildings. I liked the vintage Lego town sets from the 80s which did have wide variety of different buildings.

Alan Noronha yep 👍.We need the quality of buildings from LEGO city which they used to make back in 2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010 and 2011. I think that 2011 was the last year when LEGO city made great quality of buildings. After that the quality of LEGO city buildings is degrading year by year.

I think this wave of city sets are really vehicle focused. The only creator house set so far is the toy shop which I am not getting.

Nice modifications JC. Only a minpr thing. That jumper plate 1x4 above the new door (campervan) I would change that into white. Because the other side of the Van has a stripe of LBG 1 plate thickness

I dont like the 8 studs wide either. 6 studs is perfect and these cars have the right length also.

I see a lot of people like the 8 studs for more accuracy for the cars but I dont think those people have Lego cities.

Yes, six studs is the only correct scale for minifig vehicles. Regarding the camper van, I would put a row of windows right along the side and not worry about having a side door. Also, you could mod it at the front to give a VW look? Great vid, anyway.

Indeed the campervan looks far better with your modification. As you said green parts and a window would look even better. But you take what you got right? Also I would like to have seen a wider front window and roof on the SUV. I was looking at this set before Christmas but the joke (corner) building put me off. So I can see why you hardly could hold the laugh away. For me I just thought it was too much money for too many modifications needed to justify the buy. I got the older service station 7993 which although lacking is in my opinion in need of less modding. Keep up the good work JC. And nice to see you back posting!

Is the blue car an electric one, and that's an electric port on the petrol station? I think the camper van door is an attempt at the pull out tent that many campervan have

Such small road sweepers are used to, e.g., clean bike lanes that are separate from the road. There are even smaller ones than this.

the street sweeper is my fav 2020 set so far. i think the scale is good as in many cities in China and Melbourne also uses them. i want to get it to replace my Enlighten brand one (Enlighten 1101) whic hi tried to modify but failed . When i get it i want to get rid of the side brush as it does not make sense and only have the front ones

Try part 4181. It is a train door with a window and you can get it in Orange to match the orange stripe. Nothing comes up in that Bright Blue-Green color for doors

Not impress with the service station building so won't be picking this up. Luckily I own the last two service station sets. Although not build I do own the street sweeper.
