2020 Lexus GS 350 F Sport Review featuring a RWD model. 2020 will be the last year of the Lexus GS 350. Most importantly, this GS 350 F Sport was incredible to drive and it is a shame the GS is no longer in production. See my 2004 GS 300 Review: • 2004 Lexus GS300 Revie...
I have done several Lexus GS 350 reviews and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2013-2015 GS models to the point where I compared it to a Porsche Panamera. Before 2020 ends, I wanted to cover the last year of the GS 350 and I was very impressed with this F Sport model.

Sad thing, bmw 2 and 8 coupe line are discontinued as well. In the market for a new car, talked to BMW sale, my dear 2 series coupe will be discontinued next year along with the big 8 series. Reason? Same with Lexus, NO ONE IS BUYING! Same with Lexus LC500. Gorgeous car, no one buys. ES sold 45k+ in 2019. GS? merely 5k. It's not amazing cars are gone, it is AMAZING car enthusiasts are gone This is a war. You buy SUV? Now you have a much heavier street legal tank than me. In a car accident, SUV owners are much more protected vs small car people. So you buy SUV, I buy SUV as well. In the end, EVERYONE will buy SUV just to save their lives a little.

Man, can never get enough of these GS reviews, Mr. Kev.. It just proves how much of a driving pleasure they are.. Nothing wrong w/ the GS obviously, so it's discontinuation's likely due to a combination of the deaf/dumb/blind masses + manufacturers' focus on SUV's.. As long as I'm alive, the GS will live just as long, if not longer.. Am @ 95k on my '13.. All while still on the lookout for a GS F.. Got a feeling that there'll be more GS reviews coming in the not too distant future.. Thanks again, Mr. Lex!

Thank you for the change of heart with the GS 350 F Sport. As it stands, I'm keeping my 2018 GS 350 F Sport after my lease is up. It's that great of a vehicle drive and own. Lexus made a huge mistake by discontinuing the GS. They could've kept it fresh and exciting like the Germans did for their midsize luxury sedans. The only compliant I have with the GS 350 F Sport is cost of tire replacements and front brake services. Otherwise, it's a great vehicle to own. The ES just can't fill the shoes of the GS. Lexus salespeople wants their customers to think otherwise, but that's fake news.

We had both a 2015 and 2018 GS 350 F-Sport RWD at the same time. The 2018 was definitely more responsive to drive and seemed to handle and be as much fun to drive as the 2015 while being smoother, more luxurious, and more refined. This was the review I've been waiting for on this car. The pre-facelift and facelift GS models are very different! Lexus doesn't go into any detail about any changes that were made, but there were tons!

Thank you for sharing this my friend! Yea although I haven't tried a 2018, those are similar sentiments to how I felt about this 2020 GS vs the 2015 although I still like the 13-15 cars. You're right, Lexus never properly discloses the changes even to the press but the changes are there and very prevalent. Happy holidays!

The fact that you can get an AWD version of this to still weigh under 4000lbs is pretty impressive considering the space and comfort factor. I've said it before and I'll say it again; Lexus cars are a solid choice because refinement is at the top of the priority list yet you can still spiritedly drive it if you wish to do so. Add in that you have AWD (made even better with winter tires of course) and all of the creature comforts along with reliability it's worth every nickel.

BMW’s cant compare, they all turn to crap after 50k miles and 5 years old! Electrical problems are the worst.. MAJOR empty $ pits.. Lexus IS undeniably the most reliable, dependable cars in the industry! Loving my 2013 ES350, just turned 40k miles a few days ago. Love the GS 350 also, at the time (April 2019) when i bought my ES, the GS was about 5k more.... I took a pass on it for that reason... Definitely more aggressive and sporty with rear wheel drive. Happy Thanksgiving!

GS will definitely age well considering it's classy styling, I am totally in love with it when seeing and sitting in my friend old 2014. While I'm not too keen on the outdated infotainment, but everything has trade off (except the LC, that car is such a masterpiece), such a small one compared to the refined ride quality and long lasting reliability it offers.

I had a 2015 Gs F sport in atomic silver , A 2018 F Sport in caviar. And just recently. I was lucky enough to get one of the 210 made for USA Blacklines edition . This one is a keeper. I came from Cadillacs for 30 years. These Gs vehicles have been the best cars I ever had. It’s a shame they axed it. The higher price kept people into the Es . Which is apples to oranges for me . For the record all 3 of mine were AWD and performed identical. I’m subscribed 👍. Nice review

Great review. Living in Chicago I bought a 17 AWD GS this past July and freeeekin luv it. I mention July because as soon as the weather got cooler my brakes started squeaking pulling out of the garage, after a couple stops, gone the rest of the day. I’ve never owned a luxury car like this ( had Pontiac, Saturn, Dodge cars) with these huge brakes so apparently it’s normal that they squeal a little. Hey, I’m ok with a little “squeal” because I’m pretty sure this GS will outlast any of my previous vehicles. Once again, keep up the great reviews🙂

Love your analysis, videos and of course the fact that you a fellow Wolfpack fan. Test drive a 2019 rwd GS 350 and it was just like the 2016 you bring up in the video when you said it felt neutered. I have drive IS 350s and (3) ES 350s but this was by far the least responsive and most underwhelming Lexus 3.5 I have ever come across.

I love this Lexus GS. I use to have the 2006 Lexus GS430 V8 as well. Currently I own the 2013 Lexus GS350 midnight blue. Love the way drive, handle and sound when you gun it. The transmission is butter smooth and is so Comfortable as well. Really good on gas for the cars it size and weight as well. I can't wait to upgrade to the 2020 GS350 F-Sport or Lexus GS-F 😍🙂

I’m so happy you did this review. I have the same config but in a 2016 (caviar, flaxen interior fsport). The car imo opinion is a jack of all traits, master of none; but still excellent. I test drove 440i gran coupe, c300 coupe, Kia stinger, mustang, 17 is & a few RCs (left out a Macan s for now). My car seems to drive like this one is the video. I got it because the overall car just felt amazing w/ great performance, build quality, unique sporty looks (I love the sporty spindle grilles). From the Lexus’ I drove, the GS had the most solid/refined platform imo. Like you, I don’t care about “gimmick” tech. & the HUD like the typical buyer. I feel that stuff becomes obsolete in 6-12 months like cell phones and flat screens (unless the car gets live updates like a Tesla’s). I’ve had it for a year and there’s no problems, squeaks or rattles and blacked out the chrome accents/grill. TBH I thought the stinger GT was the best driving car but I’d never trade in the Lexus’ overall experience for the performance of the stinger.

Hey thank you for sharing all this information my friend, yea a few things about the 2016 when I drove it that was like 2 years ago so I don't remember exactly if it was an AWD model and there could have been a chance that it was in eco mode although it shouldn't have been. Every dealer here in the NE wanted to get me out but did want to get me a dime. The buyout was 34g on the lease. I knew what they were thinking. The retail was a lot higher. Pohanka lexus in Virginia gave me 38. And delivered my Blackline to NY .I made 4000 on a old lease. They sold that car for 46g. Tailk about holding value in 4 years . Johnson Lexus was a player also for me. But didn’t have any Blacklines
