What dealership are you at Frank? A lot of the first runs that were produced when we came back from the 7 weeks off that we had for retooling had some issue software, vendor & production issues. The quality is a lot better than it was with the early production vehicles.

Darrin Carter I am here in California and even now Ford is holding them in michigan for weeks for quality checks and fixing issues , yes the first batch was pretty bad but they still have issues and recalls , we are trying to compete with the big boys in luxury car market and there has been too much bad press

My buddy bought one and it has been at the dealership every week. Darrin, somebody screwed up...my friend is very angry at this point and feels the Aviator is a lemon.

Morris Carroll... I’m sorry to hear that. We had a lot of issue( production & software) in the first run vehicles we built in may once we came back from Retooling. Most of the issues are taken care of now. It’s not a lemon. Just minor issues. All new car 1st platform change will always have growing pains

If you read consumer car reviews, every carmaker has its horror stories. I believe it starts and ends with the buyer - Who would rightfully agree to a car loan, without close inspection and clearance, on a (new) mass produced car with possible defects?

I bought my Navigator Black Label in September. Amazing vehicle. Truck capability, Raptor engine (0 to 60 in 5.5), and the best interior short of a Bentley. Best car I've ever owned (or drove, or rode in)

Can anyone tell me about the reliability of Lincoln? I have a Lexus RX and an Infiniti JX35 and I have had NO PROBLEMS with either of them. I have concerns as I would like to trade in my JX35.

I’ve had a new MKX every 3 years for the last 9 years and I’ve had 1 problem with my side view mirror that had a foggy looking edge, that’s it in 3 different vehicles that I had for 3 years each.

Great quality but in the unlikely event you had a issue they come with great warranty’s and free rental obviously usually a Lincoln rental and if you splurge and get a black label you don’t even have to go in for service they send a person in your rental car to you and they take the truck for u

There is already a major recall and class action lawsuit against Ford/Lincoln on this vehicle. I’m surprised you found one on the lot, my local dealership had to send all 11 of theirs back to Michigan. All of these coming out of Chicago, go figure, are experiencing horrible electrical issues, among those, emergency brake engagement at highway speed, dash cluster not working, seatbelts not working, the list goes on, don’t believe me, goggle it. My wife and I were going to test drive and more than likely buy one last weekend when we were told this from the salesman, how about that! A salesman.

Lincoln brought the tall wagons back and nobody has batted an eye because they made them sexy and lux. The Aviator and the Corsair aren't really SUVs anymore ... and that's actually a good thing.

I wish there was less slope of the roof in the rear, and I wish that each door had the emergency release button the front driver's door has, to open the doors from the inside for when the battery dies.

Mark Keller The battery rarely dies. All the lights are LED. I don't think you can accidently leave the radio turned on ( like I did with my 2008 MKX). You would have to try real hard to kill the battery, real hard. A would be worried about not having a mechanical means to escape on each door right after an accident.

Young 100,000 mile warranty with and Lincoln vehicle the basic warranty is maybe 36k and then for around a thousand bucks that u can finance along with the truck at purchase you can get fords 100,000 bumper to bumper it covers everything all the electronics the motor everything. With that warranty u can take the truck in for 3 grand worth of repairs when it has 60 thousand miles on it and get a rental car while the repairs are made lol so when all the crap breaks your covered

I never understood people buying SUV's to be sporty. If you want something fast that handles well just buy a sports sedan or sports car. Not only do you get worse aerodynamics and worse handling in an SUV, the equivilent sports sedan is usually cheaper as well.
