I currently have a leuchtturm 1917 which I use as my bullet journal. It does calendar, task list, appointments, part time work, finances, classes I take and my kids schedule along with a daily journal. I write whatever I need to know. I also have another journal which I don't use all the time and am probably going to leave just the way it is.

Sounds like a good system! Thank you for sharing ☺️

Stick with your printpression for now. You can always upsize when you start missing the Erin Condren. I generally bullet journal in a Leuchtturm 1917 but I’m trying out an A5 Exceed from Walmart (approx. $8). It’s working perfectly. I am awaiting my Hobonichi Techo original and also plan in a classic Happy Planner & a mini Happy Planner.

That's a great line up ! thanks for sharing ! I had a huge line up but now it's down to only 5-7 planners . i have 3 hobonichi weeks : 1 for my daughter , 1 for EDC , & 1 for PWMs -- all for easy carry easy reference . nothing fancy in these . I have the EC neutral vertical for PWMs & PRs , which i will use sticker kits & stickers galore I have an A5 wide on the way for memory planning using the happy planner stickers softbound 8 x 10 hourly for a desk planner (master planner) with pen only A5 aura estelle for classes & work schedules with pen & mildliners my B6 stalogy is just memory keeping for pictures, jotting down memories to remember , ticket stubs/receipts. etc - memorabilia

Sounds like a good setup! 😍 I’ve been wanting to try a stalogy 🙈

I used the Cousin last year. While I love the paper and hobo style, it was a real drag to have to cut everything down (only room for full boxes Wed, Thurs, and Sun I think. And leaving those whole and cutting down the rest I think made it look weird. I'd go with EC for memory planning. Oh! And with the hobo, once your sticker has touched the page, you are committed to that because it rips. Best of luck! I still don't know what I'm doing for 2020!
@Esliday5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I’m thinking about making kits for the cousin for that exact reason! I’m excited to kind of figure out how to use it! 🎉
@susankay32105 жыл бұрын
@@Esliday I would use my Cousin again if I had kits for it! It seems a lot more people are using it this year, probably rubbing off from the Hobo Weeks trend. I've been a loyal hobo user for three years & love it still but had to add another planner for the basic EC kits.

Thanks for sharing your lineup! For 2020 I plan to use a "structured" A5 spiral bujo with 2 page spreads for each month for - monthly/weekly/daily goals + tracking, - income and expenses by category, -tasks by week used mostly for household stuff -free space that I've used for mood tracking and line per day prompts / gratitude -list of grocery items by cateogy I setup a b6 stalogy in the hobo techo style to journal a page per day. Lastly I have a a5 stalogy for memory keeping. I'll have a 2 page spread per week with a box per day to draw a sketch or write a quote to summarize the day. The bujo and b6 should last me the year but the memory keeper can span 3 years!

That’s quite the line up lol. Hi from a fellow cover collector 😂 So my current line up is - Planner: I used an A6 bullet journal for most of 2019 and I love it. But for 2020 I’ll move to Hobonichi Techo A6 - I journal in B6 notebook, for 2020 a Hobonichi cousin will be my main journal, goals and health tracker - sometimes I need to “journal” on the go; ramble about my day or vent about something so I’ll be keeping a field notes in my bag/pocket - a standard travelers notebook (I have 1 from Startbay notebooks) to prep for NaNoWriMo 2020 - I might add a notebook for morning pages - I have a Leuchturm 1917 5 year journal and everyday I write something about my daughter I might add other notebooks to the lineup and haven’t set my mind up yet
@Esliday5 жыл бұрын
Ohhh I hope you love the techo for next year! Having a journal for your daughter is such a sweet idea and I also love the idea of having a ramble or vent journal for on the go. I’ll have to throw an extra notebook in my bag! 😂🤣

I also agree with you about the Hobonichi week’s; I tried to use it 2017 and didn’t work for me at all. I love how you and other people are repurposing it. I can use the PrintPressions layout more effectively as a planner. As for memory planner maybe the compact A5 passion planner would work for you

I love all your covers. I buy mine from Chic Sparrow, I’ll have to try foxy. On your string just tie them together. On my home planner I’m going from an A5 to a standard size. My edc is an A6 stalogy. 2020 will be the hobonichi a6, but I’m not sure how long that will be because I’m already thinking about the freedom of the stalogy that I don’t have in the hobo.
@Esliday5 жыл бұрын
Oh I definitely want to try a Chic sparrow! I’ve been eyeing their site. Do you recommend any specific one? I’ve been thinking about a stalogy also! But I’m going to try to stick with hobos for now 🙈

Really love the little creative journal you have, does the paper take all kinds of media? I thought the paper was super thin and might not hold up to mixed media?!
@Esliday5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It is a very thin paper but it handles a lot of ink/water very well. I can watercolor with no problems or bleed through at all. The only thing I’ve had bleed through is some dye stamping inks but other than that the tomoe River paper has held up really well with anything I throw on it!

I think you should stick to the same size memory planner maybe you just need a book with less pages so you can split it up by quarter or season so it wont get so chunky in your cover or get a book that is more loosely bound with leaflets and a thicker spine so it holds 6 month but has room to chunk up youd prolly need a different cover for that too then but i think sizing up is gonna be a mistake especially if youre trying to save money you can always use that cousin as a junk journal
@Esliday5 жыл бұрын
I was just thinking that exact thing, about needing something I can split into quarters! I need to figure some things out lol. Thank you so much for your recommendations! 💖

I am going to use my EC with Stickers as memory keeping. My inspiration for that is Taylor @tattooedteacherplans she has 1 ec for planning and 1 for Memory keeping. I like Mandy Dreams Monthly in her EC she puts a highlight for each day and if she doesn't have one she will decorate the box with something from a monthly kit or some washi. She also adds other stickers as well and it's so cool..I'm ready for 2020 to get started... You have been my enabler...lol I bought all 3 hobonichi's...
