Hey brother, On Saturday I ordered my Memphis shades Road warrior faring with the 13” black smoke windshield , can’t wait! Then the exhaust, seat and bags. I literally just left San Jose and I’m on my way home to Modesto to go for a ride

Very nice!! The bike looks nice in the avatar picture. I heard there's a 2 month wait on orders from memphis shades? Modesto is super hot! If you ride lots of highway, you will definitely benefit from the road warrior fairing.

I haven’t had any issues with mine but I changed the rubber mounts to a better stronger mount I’m using the ones Harley uses for the saddlebag mounts and I haven’t had any issues at all but in fairness it’s more of a around town bike cause I use my road glide for highway

I saw in the FB group, someone else also changed the mounts. Unfortunately still broke, they used Dixon bolts? Freeway speeds seem to be the main factor for everybody.

The problem is when u ride one handed the left side grips shakes too much and I think it causes the weak joint to break. That plastic tab looks like is two pieces glued. The front end shakes at higher speeds and puts too much stress on those joints.

How did you get ws tinted? You did it yourself? No one wants to tint flexiglass around me

I used headlight tint, it's been holding up for 7 months now. No issues so far, it's just not clear to look through it. You can make up objects looking through the tint, just can't read signs and stuff. Wouldn't recommend doing it, if you look through your glass. Yes I did it myself using VVIVID headlight tint.

14" bars. I have 10-inch risers with 4-inch rise handlebars.

I really like the new look, it's a shame they have quality control issues. A lot of people are still waiting for replacements, some have been waiting for over 3 months.

You can get some difrinet gromits and clips that will fix the problem if you get ddp winsren it will come with them

I have mine with e clips from Harley and a 12in ddp windshield and so far it’s been good, have about 8k miles with the quarter and about 1k with the 12in windshield

Maybe the e clips help with the vibration??Let's see if they redesign it, maybe we'll see recalls for the softail fairing.

HD fairing in its stock form doesn't come off when installed correctly. I do agree that they should have designed the mounts better. I added the DDP 12" windscreen and started having issues. Made my own lexan clips used on stock grommets and have done 138mph runs about 30 different times and had no problems. FYI, that 💩Marvel kid💩 installed the fairing wrong as you can see in his install video.

I've seen in the FB group about alternative mounts/clips for the fairing. Even with improvements to the mounting, people advise buying a different fairing. Someone mentioned it held on for a few extra miles, eventually the fairing broke. The 12" windscreen looks great on the HD fairing, a lot better than the stock windscreen. I didn't see his install video.

@@InfamousCreep the road warrior fairing has way better mounts but everyone and their mother has that fairing. No insult to anyone that has it, its a great looking fairing but too many out there.
