@Papi Pap ... both engines come in many different configurations I believe the 2.1 has 3 versions, 136 hp base taxi engine to max 250 cdi (204 hp) The 2.0 also comes in different versions, my estate has the ( 194 hp version) but I believe there’s also a 245 hp. Version. It’s quite confusing

Engine is fine for me, I live in Ireland, max allowed 120 kmh on motorway. Has similar power to my 2.0 Passat b8, actually this E class even faster so is perfectly adequate for my needs. Would prefer e220 but there is a nice e200 for sale near me...

And, did you buy it? :), i have one older from 2012, W212 E200CDI and i also think so its time to replace them maybe with another one, but this time i like to have some "upgrade" maybe to E220 or higher.

@@mh3273 Yes I bought it. Build quality is superb and you really feel special behind the wheel. Mine is hyacinth red metallic. Power is perfectly fine for everyday driving.

Streut auch mehr nach oben mit ca. 170-180ps und ca. 390nm. Das was aufm Papier steht übertrifft der etwas. Bei den alten OM651 war es eher, das was aufm Papier steht minus 3 ps.

yes the w212 has alot of maintenance issues so if its working good id sell it while its working and buy a w213 diesel eigther 220d or 300d depending on your performance needs

no this is all new mercedes engine from 2018

This engine is fully Merc, code OM654 D16. It is not Renault, while it is not necessary a bad thing, it is not. The problem maybe is the power for such a big car.

ja das stimmt schon, bei solche Auto Grösse soll mindestens 180 PS oder 200 PS haben, aber am Anfang Autobahn einfahrt war ja noch etwas bergauf, deswegen lange Elastizität Beschleunigung

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK mein Vater hatte mal einen A 200d als Überbrückungsdienstwagen und obwohl er wenn es geht immer 180-220 fährt hat er es mit dem nicht gemacht, weil der einfach zu lange braucht. Zum glück hat er jetzt nen c300de haha, da geht auch was

Das war schon immer so, dass es Varianten unter 200 PS gab und die wurden am meisten gekauft. Deswegn musst du da irgendwo falsch liegen, wenn du das so behauptest.
