In this video, I show you how to install an exhaust on a 2020 Ford Mustang GT. Stock exhaust with mystery Xpipe is removed, and replaced with a BORLA ATAK catback exhaust.

Little bit curious as I wanted to throw these on. 5.5l v8 Benz but are these packed mufflers? When I heard you knock on it it sounded hollow but they also say it’s a straight through design. Would these be louder than magnaflow mufflers of similar size?

why are so many of the US models budget looking ,i have the same year GT in NZ and its way diiferent , we have as standard 6 piston red brembos up front , different switches including a whole row of them this one doesnt have , even the dash is different , we can only get full digital dash , and the sat nav screen is bigger , weird

Chances are you have the Performance Package which comes with gauges instead of center vent above screen and also toggle switches. Also could be different years.

Cannot see paying that much for exhaust system. I went with muffler delete with xpipe. Did away with active exhaust

Not sure - we did not install headers with this catback. I think headers would actually be too loud and obnoxious with this setup.

I’ve heard the borla ataks with stainless power 1 7/8 long tube headers, and it was one of the best sounding setups personally I think! I’ll post a couple more shorts from this guys set up, which again is the Borla Ataks with the Stainless Power 1-7/8 long tube headers. And this is actually the exact set up I’m going to be doing on my 2020 mustang 5.0 too! I can’t wait to get it done, but of course as you know everything’s so damn expensive for these cars now days and takes time unfortunately. I do not have experience with Corsa but I believe this setup is louder. Corsa is generally a bit more conservative in terms of volume

I have had both Corsa Extreme and Borla ATAK setups on my '20 GT and they're both equally as loud in my honest opinion. Sound quality, however, Borla definitely takes the cake. Corsa is way too harsh and almost white-noisey if that makes sense. :)

I love my Borla on my 10S 2020. Definitely loud as hell, but has the low end I wanted (grumbly lower sound until you hit mid-higher RPMs). Corsa is the opposite, it shoots more towards the higher end (sounds more like an exotic car from the bottom all the way through, like a high revy car sound)
