You literally took the words right out of my mouth that’s exactly how I felt. The Borla sounds better Revving however the Corsa sounds better while driving. I kind of thought that the Borla sounded a little trumpety when driving away. I’m just not crazy about any sort of droning while driving.

Neither of these exhaust systems are street systems. both of these systems would be horrendous and painful to run on the street on a daily, both of these systems would likely have horrible drone, simply because they’re so loud that it would get allowed inside the cabin to. If you were to run either of these cars on the street, you would want to run one of their street systems or something much closer to it than their extreme side of their systems . Like for Borla, they have a touring series, personally, I think those sound better than the attack at a wide range of rpm… I think Attak sounds better last couple grand of RPM range but meat and potato’s of it, touring sounds better IMO. A little less raspiness (usually also means it’s deeper too), you don’t get the trumpeting, and when you’re just idling, your car is blending in with traffic… but when you stand on the throttle, it’s typical Borla… screams loud and proud.

I got a Borla ATAK XPipe on my 2017 GT here in Australia, whenever I finish work in the city, eight hour shift, usually ends up being a cold start. The parking lot rumbles so much and as I'm driving down the road the noise bounces across the tall buildings in the street it's bloody loud lmao.

@@lachlansmith452 Hey mate funny enough I've only received one call from the cops about two noise complaints with the exhaust. Funny story is one individual on a main road usually whistles every time they see me drive through and I usually just downshift into high revs and gun it for their entertainment. However a few of their neighbours didn't like it. Understandably to be honest I would hate hearing a Mustang screaming through every week lmao. The officer that called me said it wasn't illegal soundwise with my vehicle but if further complaints arises they would investigate my car. He was fairly cool about it and I pretty much told him no problem and explained the exhaust system and what I was doing. My elderly neighbours across the road don't like it but I explained tough shit but look, I don't rev the car or gun it down the street. I try and keep it quiet. Cold starts in the morning at 4am before work is dreadfully loud, I usually just immediately switch to reverse and get out of home. A I say just be responsible with it, and respectful of your neighbours. But once your out of the residential areas, bloody hell mate its loud. So let it rip lol.

Corsa for me! Tough choice though to be honest. The Borla sounds amazing but it’s a little “unrefined” under load (I’m aware that’s what the ATAK is all about). The Corsa is just plain snap your neck nasty ❤️ Either way, I do love them both!

Both sound exceptional. I reckon the best test is a 'idling drive by' of a group of school kids. They will love it and give you honest answers. Screaming exhausts are good but a nice idle cruising past a chev is better for the ears & ego.

Finally I've been waiting forever for someone to do a comparison between Corsa Extreme vs Borla Atak They both sound sick with 2 different tones but I think the borla sounds a bit more louder but it could be the setup. I'd love to see this on a 18 GT or newer with the same setup on both cars. headers, pipes etc. Mustang Lifestyle, you guys sure do got the life. I wish I could do what you guys do. I've been watching your channel since scotts f.b.o. 15 mustang gt that car was awesome and I loved the way he dressed up that car it looked good from the color to the wheels and all the other accessories. old school here, back in the old days b4 all this fuel injection mapping etc., sometimes you would see/hear cars that were modded by people who didn't know what they were doing: They would put exhaust and k&n filter but didn't know how to rejet and tune the carbs. you could alway tell they didn't know what they were doing because when they let off the gas, their car would pop and crackle. I know its different now because you can map the mixture how you want, but i can't hear that sound without thinking it sounds bad lol

I have kooks 1-7/8 catted and borla ATAK as well. Borla becomes a bit quiet while on the highway but once you let it rip it does it’s job. Corsa on the other hand stays rowdy. Just depends on what your style is. I get compliments all the time for my exhaust system. Plus I didn’t choose corsa due to the fact that every s550 owner chooses corsa. I like to be different. I’m actually thinking about going cattless and modifying towards a double x-pipe

Have a 2021 hellcat redeye with a Borla atak. Looking to hopefully add a GT350r to the garage soon. The Borla is just... Nasty. Everything you want for an exhaust on an American V8. Ill put the Borla on my GT350r without question.

I'm Mustang guy like these guys but for some reason it sounds like a v6 or Nissan GTR when they were regular driving from a dead stop, and while they were reving up sitting still i heard a buzzing sound that took away that awesome 5.2L flat plane crank sound that everyone loves. It did sound much better at high RPM when they were driving them, but I think the mic 🎤 on the camera wasn't recording the exhaust note like it should have because the sound was so loud it messed it up. Both of those exhaust manufacturers have amazing products for the mustang family and I bet it was the mic 🎤 that didn't record as it should have. I love Mustang and Ford as a whole and I'm not trying to bash any of the cars or exhaust systems, I'm just wondering if anyone else heard the same thing I did. Mustang's for Life
