the extra HP is off set by the extra weight..... these 2 ski's have the exact Power to weight ratio. I have the front storage on my Trixx and honestly cant think of why I would need more space as I have never come close to maxing out my storage now. I do wish I had rearview mirrors. I love the fact that I can beach the Trixx and not damage the hull. I have ridden next to the Yamaha.... I am 100 pounds heaver that the guy on the other guy but that is off-set by the Yamaha weighing 100 more pounds. He was doing maybe 2 mph more than me but my trixx has 300 hours on it and his had 25. I routinely get 44 mph out of my trixx with me and my son with a combined weight of 330lbs on board.

Thanks for the excellent review. They are both excellent ski’s that bring the weight right down close to the good old two stroke days. That means more fun and easier to throw around in both flat water and surf conditions. I chose the EXR for its greater versatility. I use it in the surf, 2-3 up riding and towing a couple of tubes. It does it all with ease. The TR1 Engine really rips in this light weight hull and it tears up the surf with more than enough power. Throttle response is even better than the old two stroke days which was a pleasant surprise. Bring on the new JetBlaster ..

you can get a saftey kit for the spark thats watertight and can store your phone

Thanks for the note. As we said in the video, additional storage is an extra-cost option on the Sea-Doo Spark. We love the Sea-Doo Spark (and the Yamaha Jet Blaster), but we wish it had more storage from the get-go.

I have both. Yamaha is an overall better ski. Can’t compare the two

You're lucky. Great to have the choice. We had a blast testing both back-to-back. The Yamaha hull has the edge for tight turns and longer range thanks to the bigger tank. But the Sea-Doo Spark Trixx's ability to ride on its tail is a hoot, too.

Yeah we hear you. That said, Jet Skis and personal watercraft are still more popular than ever in Australia. Even with price rises every year.

Exr blows that trixx out the water, you failed to mention Yamaha optional sound system for 300 .... And Yamaha optional storage under the hood , storage near handle bars, and storage on the rear deck ....

And the exr hull is designed better for longer rides. You’ll be way more comfy and can ride faster for longer then the sea doo. You’ll get beat up on the spark. But the spark is way funner for staying close and messing around with the wheelies and stuff.
