Thanks Scott! I'm glad to be back making videos. The Port Mann bridge reminds me a lot of that bridge around your neck of the woods too. Do you have anything new coming?

I remember learning about Point Roberts for the first time over a documentary. Truly intriguing how even high schoolers who reside there have to cross 2 borders everyday to get to school. Anyways awesome video. Loved the mixture of cable-stayed bridges and tunnels in this one!
@TransCanadaPhil4 жыл бұрын
I've heard the pandemic has brought havoc because of the border closures unfortunately. People are saying Point Roberts is a bit of a ghost town at the moment with nearly 80% of all businesses closed down.

The traffic conditions of your video filmed on a sunday are very different from mine filmed on a weekday. Nice work on the video and thanks for the shout out.

I think I recorded this about 4 in the afternoon or so that Sunday. As nice as the scenery is, for such a new road it did seem a bit "sub-standard" I thought. I noticed BC tends to be like that, compared to Alberta, BC's highways seem a bit narrow and not quite top grade. My next video will be the new Regina bypass (which I managed to record in Sept), there's an example of a nice wide high grade road.

Thanks Phil, you always have great footage. At what speed do you increase your video to, the speed is always perfect with the music .I watched your videos many times and I'm impressed how the speed of the video so perfectly matches the music .ALWAYS ,GREAT JOB
@TransCanadaPhil4 жыл бұрын
The speed varies from typically between 2.5 to 3.5x. I always try to match the general rhythm and vibe of the soundtrack. I mix the soundtrack first... then fit the video to the audio.
