Yikes, how did I miss this? Glad I caught it now. What a vibrant looking downtown! All I ever got to see of Vancouver was the airport terminals.

There are always lots of pedestrians walking around Vancouver. The city looks like no other place in the country. Many people say Vancouver looks a lot like Hong Kong! It's very high density and it really doesn't have any of those kind of suburban style neighbourhoods with twisting cul-de-sacs like most cities in North America. It's all either high-density or medium density city blocks.

504RoadTrips Normally it'll just keep flashing green the whole time without a regular lightcycle until a pedestrian presses the button to cross, then it'll turn yellow and red for a bit. here's a useful link: www.tranbc.ca/2014/10/03/flashing-green-lights-and-what-they-mean/

@@TransCanadaPhil Oh wow, I was actually going to go to Banff and Jasper this summer, but that's obviously not happening. Soon I'm planning on doing a weekend trip to Mount Rainier and am going to do a roadtrip in part of the US this fall.
