Car has come a long way. This is probably one of the nicest looking Corolla's in a long time. Kudos to Toyota for offering it in a 6 speed. The SE is def the sweet spot for this thing.

We purchased a 2008 corolla when my son was 8. He’s now completing his 3rd year at university. We expect to give him our corolla when he graduates next year. Unbelievable reliability. Tires, brakes, battery, and fluids......that’s all we have replaced. No rust.....like new. Thinking that we may purchase the hybrid or XSE next.

Scott Dougall so true, we have three cars now but i still enjoy driving my parents’ 2005 corolla. it still runs amazing, no crazy maintenance costs and amazingly still in great condition. its also been on many road trips halfway across the country and has 200,000+ kms but its still amazingly reliable :)

I can't speak to the 2020 but I bought the 2017 XSE in 2019 as a one owner preowned in Falcon Gray Metallic and I love it so much! Had it for 15 months and no regrets as a single teacher! Great bang for your buck!

Toyota did a good job here. A much-needed refresh. Back when I was in the market for a car in 2017, I test drove the 2017 Carolla SE. Really nice car except the interior was so outdated and cheap feeling. It killed it for me. This is a great step forward. If they keep this body style and drivetrain for the next few years I might trade-in for it. I'm always wary of first model years with a platform change. I'll wait a year or two for the kinks to be ironed out.

I like my 2020 Corolla LE. I’m missing wireless charging function, heated seats, the different cluster with display on the dash, and other features. I do have a moonroof on my LE which is a step up. I don’t mind the cloth seats over leather.

The heated mirrors were also on the previous gen. The Corolla is missing a heated steering wheel and heated seats only on the top trims. The Corolla has head steering wheel in Canada and Europe, so I don't know why they offer it in the uSA

Sedans are not going extinct. Sadly Ford, GM & Chrysler are leaving the small car segment thinking people don't want them anymore. The reason GM, Ford & Chrsyler's small cars are't popular is because they are cheaply built and unreliable. I think it is a BIG mistake for Ford to discontinue sedans

I think the ci vic gives you a better vehicle for your money when it comes to technology. The toyota kinda lacks a bit in that category. This car would be a bit better with full leather interior especially for a XSE model.

Buy every 2 or 3 years how about 10 - 15 years I have a 04 corolla bought it as a 3rd car 2 my kids learned to drive in one left home the other can afford his own car so now I can have some fun again and I'm eyeing a XSE it say's mid life crisis but is still practical the wife can keep the crossover and the minivan becomes the 3rd vehicle lol
